Constance Buchanan | 19 comments So I got my friend to read my work a couple of weeks back and she says although it's fine, my writing style reminds her of Sylvia Plath's...should I be worried about this? I've never actually read much of Plath's to be honest and only recently have I read the Bell Jar...but will publishers try and think I'm imitating her? I don't think I've ever changed my writing style at all, but isn't it normal for two writers to have a similar style?
