Betty Webb's Lena Jones mysteries? Set in Arizona.
All my friend said was that it took place in the West. So it could be AZ.

Sorry but I can't give plot details or anything else because we don't know any! It's pretty much basically what I said in the intro. Sorry for being so vague, but the Sue Grafton books might be IT!

Sorry for being so vague, but nothing is known about these books, just what I described in the header. But I think all of you have helped greatly and the Sue Grafton books might be the ones! Give yourself a pat on the back. Thanks so much! If these books aren't the ones I'll be back!

It's not the Sue Grafton books. I will see if it's the Betty Webb books though. I'm not familiar with those.

I don't think I'll find it for my friend because she didn't give me enough info. I thought for sure it was the Sue Grafton books. So For the sanity of all, I'll just mark it more or less done! Stephen did give me another good suggestion and link, so that's my last resort. If I find anything on that I'll let everyone know. Thanks for all the help.
