steph Hi Danielle,
I hope you find a book in my little selction you are interested in. Although you only rated it with 2 stars, I will give "Adulthood is a myth" a try - maybe "All the bright places", too.
Have fun reading!

Lisa I am about halfway through Holding Up the Universe, and it's charmingly engrossing. I occasionally read middle-school and YA lit as my 13 yo grandson and I have an informal "Grandma-Grandson" book club and I'm grateful to have the opportunity to be introduced to compelling literature and modern voices. So much has changed since I was in school!

Jordan, hope you'll find something on my list to read.

Missy (Purplemadness) | 31 comments Hi Danni,
I read The Perks of being a Wallflower! You have it a 4 star ratting and I have it a 5 star. I really enjoyed it. It made the movie (which I love) make a lot more since.

I'm happy you enjoyed the book so much. The Ocean at the End of the Lane is also great.

Jadine | 18 comments Hey Jaime,
I picked A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens to read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You gave it a 5 star rating and I ended up deciding to give it 4 stars. I'm glad that I read this because it had been on my book list for a while. So thank you!

Pixye Hi vishal
I picked the alchemist by Paulo coelho in the end because I couldn't find the Rosie project
It was pretty good I just finished

Pixye What are u going to read?

Lisa I finished reading Jordan's book Holding Up the Universe. It was a quick and easy read, very interesting. The author made both her protagonists very easy to empathize with; her use of language was masterful. I didn't find the dialogue completely credible, but that can be overlooked in the totality. I gave it 4 stars.

steph I finished Adulthood Is a Myth and i must say i rather liked it. I found myself in a lot of the described situations and gave it 4 stars in comparison to the 2 stars from Danielle.

Anne ✨ Finds Joy (annefindsjoy) | 718 comments I finished book:
What Lies Beyond The Stars
I rated it 4 stars as Annie did. It's a creative fictional story built around the philosophical question of finding higher meaning in a high-tech consumer driven world. The storyline is intruiging, and there's a mystery interwined in the pages. The ending does not solve/answer it, but there is supposedly a sequel coming which i would like to read for sure!

Myra Blake (tentmari) | 26 comments I finished reading The Obsession. I enjoyed it but I rated it 4 where Anna W rated it 5. It was good, but for me it was not quite up to par with some of the other Nora Roberts books I've read.
Also, I am glad to have had the opportunity to do a Copy Cat Challenge. This was my first and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks Anna W for making this possible. :-) I will definitely be participating again.

Annie | 89 comments Just finished The Martian by Andy Weir from Anne's list.

I gave it 3 stars compared to Anne's four as I felt that at 3/4s of the way it dragged for me. Other than that though I thought it was a really engaging and interesting story and I really loved the sarcasm and the parts that made me laugh out loud.

message 66: by Jaime (new)

Jaime Pedregon Hey Jadine,

I picked Crank by Ellen Hopkins as it was the one book that caught my attention, The style of writing was extremely different than what I was used to but was exhibited beautifully. You gave it 5 stars, I gave it 4 only because I found the story a bit difficult to believe. Overall an enjoyable book.

Ann | 38 comments I finished The God Delusion.
Pradnya rated it 4 stars; I gave it 3 stars.
While I like the points it made and found some of the supporting data enlightening, I also found it to be repetitive and sometimes condescending.
