Wrong Author

Could someone please help me to assign Spoils of War to the correct Hannah Walker (author of the Avanti series). Thank you in advance!

Hi, the author name for the book was Hannah^Walker (with a single space), so I've corrected the name to Hannah^^Walker (with two spaces) which assigns the book to the correct author.

Yeah she's tried contacting Amazon about that and they said they changed it but his still happens every time. Do you know of anything we can do?

While creating a new book, mentioning the correct author's name is important. The author of the Avanti series has her name saved as Hannah^^Walker which appears with a single space on the author profile. If in future, more books under that author are to be created, then the author field must be filled in as Hannah^^Walker (with two spaces).

Hanna^Walker is another author profile, so to separate the two, we saved the name with varied spaces.

In conclusion, while creating a book if one fills the author field as Hannah^Walker then the book will be created under the profile of Hannah Walker. If one fills the field as Hannah^^Walker, then the book will the created under the profile of Hanna Walker.

She doesn't create these books they are automatically added when they are published on Amazon. The couple of times we tried to create the listings ourselves we then had to ask you guys to merge them after it came out and the new listing was automatically added as well. So we tried contacting Amazon about how her name was listed on her author profile and on newly published books but that doesn't seem to have helped.

The only way is being faster than the bots and adding the ASIN. Because bots look for ASIN/isbn
