Leah Wohl-Pollack Hi guys! I have a bit of a unique situation on my hands and I'm wondering if anyone in this great community might be able to help out.

One of my regular editing clients has come to me about a family member with a memoir manuscript in need of a heavy edit. I'm unable to take on the job right now for a number of reasons, and so I'm hoping to pass it off to someone else. The memoir is about 90k words, in UK style, and has many errors. The author has only a moderate level of education, and does not have aspirations to become a professional writer--the memoir is more of a personal project that will be sold as part of a charity effort.

The author is willing to compensate adequately for the heavy amount of editing needed and the time commitment.

Is anyone interested in and available to take on such a project? If so, please PM me and I'm very happy to discuss in further detail what the job will entail.

Thanks!

-Leah (Lead Editor, Invisible Ink Editing)

Victoria Bright (vbrightauthor) | 46 comments My schedule is pretty open. I can be reached at info@editsbyv.com!

Barbara Bamberger | 6 comments I am an American editor/writer who lived in London for five years. I would be fine with this work including odd spellings and slang; I review memoirs constantly. My bona fides would be available just by googling my full name -- Barbara Bamberger Scott
