Carolyn Mckenzie (carolynsophie) | 5 comments I'll be there too - really looking forward to it. My ebooks are on CreateSpace and Amazon, and my calendars are on Lulu.com. I'll be there with children's writer and poet, Amanda Edwards, and I'll also be representing my father's paperback and ebooks. If you missed out on his recent free givaway of "The Gentle Giants" (by Gordon McKenzie)don't miss the fair for more giveaway opportunities. www.ventimgilaaltawords.com See you there.

P.D.R. Lindsay (pdrlindsay) | 1760 comments Alas, I'm on the waiting list. The stalls sold out. Still, finding the airfare was impossible unless other authors chipped in and no one has any money either!!!!

The organiser has offered to sell our Writer's Choice books for a commission.

P.D.R. Lindsay (pdrlindsay) | 1760 comments Been offered a share of a table!
Now to find the airfare.Cheapest so far is $268 but I've no pals to stay with any more. And how to get round Auckland without a car is a problems. Ah well. One at a time. it's Devonport so I could catch the ferry! Sigh, this is where I miss my husband who was so good at finding places.

P.D.R. Lindsay (pdrlindsay) | 1760 comments Any South island writers lurking here. I will sell your books for you if you like. Get in touch.

P.D.R. Lindsay (pdrlindsay) | 1760 comments I think I will call my table the South Island Indie writers as I have seven writers asking me to sell their books.

If you are around do please come and make yourself known so I will have voices to put to faces. There are free lollies!

And it will be nice to meet you all.

Sue (tog1) | 47 comments So looking forward to meeting you! I will be sharing a table with Julie Scott, author of the Chittens series for children, J.L. Pawley, who is midway through publishing her YA series Generation Icarus (about teens who grow wings) and Rich Copping (aka Chard Andrews), a ship's captain who's about to bring out a maritime thriller set in Auckland in the future. We are all ex Pear Jam authors forging ahead (okay then, mostly floundering around) in the SP world.

P.D.R. Lindsay (pdrlindsay) | 1760 comments Sounds good. We can discuss the best ways to get distributors and the best way to promote our books.
