A bit of Halloween terrorism:http://abc7ny.com/4-injured-on-west-s...
What is it with bike paths these days? Are they really that threatening to hotheaded motorists?
Unfortunately easy targets - unprotected human beings on a hard-surfaced, drivable area accessible from nearby roadways, with possible escape routes.

Apparently there is a motorcycle gang in East Harlem, every so often I will hear them roaring down 2nd Ave., and yes they will cut into the bike path. A$$holes.

And that's a problem? They are bikes after all!!!
We have huge problems about bike paths and lanes here because our city has so many bikers as well as motorcycle bikers. One biker riding in the bike path bumped into a car trying to turn and all hell broke loose. It can get nasty. Actually as a driver I hate bikers too....! HA... when we ride our bikes we go down to Stanley Park and ride around the bike paths and sight seers looking at the ocean and gorgeous big mountains with snow on top.

Fishface, has Bella calmed down yet?

4 years in prison sounds pretty insufficient when you've killed either 61 or 70 living creatures under your care (the online news gave a higher number than the radio):http://www.livingstondaily.com/story/...

Another animal cruelty case -- this one involving dogs -- right next door to the Cohoctah one, in fashionable Fowlerville, MI. 7 dogs and puppies were confiscated and the prosecutor's office is waiting for the report to decide whether to bring charges. Things are looking bad for 4-leggers in the north end of the county, I'll tell you that much. Couldn't find a link to it yet -- I heard it on the radio just now.

I also heard a news item this morning about Conner's Law getting passed somewhere -- I came in in the middle of the announcement but they seemed to be talking about Michigan. It allows a judge to count the murder of a pregnant woman as two murders. It begs the question: when is a blow struck for crime victims' rights also a blow struck for the pro-life movement?
Yes, I've considered this myself. It's a double-edged sword, or a double standard. One of those things without an easy answer.
Everyone's screaming conspiracy, but was it really a murder?http://www.oxygen.com/blogs/cops-rele...
'Nother new serial killer?https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2...
I have to say I'm having trouble with the name of the city, if it is a city. "Salmon Arm," for Pete's sake???

RCMP think they have another 'Willie' on the farm but are very tight-lipped about it. They don't reveal much in the way of "breaking news" so nobody knows much about it. Parents whose kids have gone missing must be going through hell. I don't think Salmon Arm is like a city CITY, although I haven't been there but more like a town.

I read that as "...two dozen CATS on her face."

Dang I just conjured up a picture of this woman with two dozen cats on her face and cuts are even worse.

Wow! That's exactly how I read it at first!
So, cats don't usually make deep scratches, though. Sounds a little dubious to me.

Did you hear Manson is dying! Another entry in TC anniversaries. I’m giddy. I also feel like a ghoul. Waiting for him to die.

Who's John Wastland?"
This guy, I was kidding though:
"A man who punched and shook his newborn baby to death when she was just two days old has been found dead in his prison cell.
Police said Liam Deane, 22, was found dead in his cell at HMP Leeds on Sunday, just one month after he was jailed for viciously killing his daughter Luna in the family home.
Another inmate, John Westland, 28, appeared at Leeds Magistrates’ Court this morning charged with his murder.
Westland was flanked by two police officers and a member of court escort staff as he was brought into the dock.
He remained handcuffed throughout the brief hearing, speaking only to confirm his personal details."

I wonder whether it was payback for the baby's death or whether the guy just rubbed him the wrong way?
