Instead, we add an alternate-cover edition.

Reviews/ratings and shelvings have to be transferred to the correct edition, which is only possible when both editions are combined.

#429 #430 that's the wrong thread for your request as mentioned in the first post - this thread is only(!) for deletion of real duplicates - not for just moving a book to another profile. (that can be done by any librarian)open a new thread for such requests.

This edition https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3..., is listed as HC (imported), but the publisher page notes the ISBN as MOBIPOCKET format (http://www.chicagoreviewpress.com/sei...), which is Kindle, correct? It doesn't have any shelvings right now, but I separated with the Kindle edition to merge into just in case.
Mobipcket is a generic ebook too. Sometimes.
