If you add your books before they are imported (make sure the isbn or ASIN is on the book record), it will prevent the book from being imported and the other author profile from being created.
When books are already imported, it is usually a quick fix for librarians to move the books to your profile.

Hello, I am consistently having an issue where my books are being added under two different profile names. Is it possible to simply have the "." removed from my middle initial, and the two profiles merged, so that when I publish a new book and it imports from amazon (without the ".") the new books are going to the right profile?
