Where to find pictures for your blog?

I recently restarted my blog and I am wondering where I can find free ( and legal) pictures to use. I have been using the pictures from Goodreads and giving them credit, but I am not sure that I should be doing that. I mostly need book covers, so if you could help that would be great.

I think it is ok to use book covers from Goodreads and Amazon, but I could be wrong. If I have a physical copy of a book, I take a photo of it and use that. The only case I've seen where the author did not want the book cover really used was with Grace Draven's "Entreat Me"- you had to ask permission of the artist or author on their website to use it. Generally I don't give credit to Goodreads, etc. for a book cover, because it's more the author's and publishers property than Goodreads. And really, it's better for the author/publisher if you use a book cover for the review, just for promotional reasons.

Thanks, that helps. But what about if you use Adsense on Blogger? Would I be able to use Goodreads if I am selling advertisements?

As long as you are linking the images correctly, it is not an infringement.
