I'm currently reading the The Warrior Prophet, and am thoroughly enjoying the series. Henceforth, I purchased the other three books set in R. Scott Bakker world. As usual I gave the book a quick browse read the back, and was hugely disappointed when it spoiled the story.
Has anyone else ever done this, and what series did it impact?
Revival of characters, surviving characters, characters that have risen to a powerful role?
Although were not sure how they reach this outcome it kind of takes some of the suspense out of things.
