The Basics > Why can't I see all of the threads in a folder?

You might have noticed that some threads appear to be "hidden", or that they are not visible on the group homepage. The group's current settings allow only the 6 most recently active threads to be shown in each folder. Therefore, you will be unable to see all threads in some of our busier folders,

For example, our Ranting and Raving About Books folder has quite a few threads in it (38 at the moment, to be exact). I visited the group's homepage and scrolled down to this folder. This was what I saw:

As you can see, only six threads are visible. But how do I know that there are additional threads in this folder that I can't see at the moment? To the right of each folder name, you can see the total number of threads in that particular folder, as shown in my screenshot below.

The text on the righthand side informs me that I am viewing 6 of the total 38 threads in this folder.

So how do you view all of the threads in a folder? Simply click on the folder name to view every thread in that particular folder.
