Bloomsday—Looking for a Quote from a Joyce Fan

I'm a freelancer writing a short piece about Bloomsday on a tight deadline. (The piece is due on Monday, June 5th.)

My editor would like me to get a brief quote from someone with some James Joyce expertise—whether it's an English/History professor or just an ardent fan.

If there's anyone out there who loves James Joyce, has studied his works (particularly Ulysses), and wouldn't mind answering a few questions about the Bloomsday celebration, I'd deeply appreciate your time!
