Which Serial Killer Is Different, And How?

One of his motives was profit.
He also lured the victims from ads in the papers.
Just on a historical note.
I love the change in this method.
50 years ago you had Albert Fish, Landru, Kiss, Lake and Ng, and several other serial killers luring their victims or meeting their victims through paper ads.
Now we have facebook, twitter, instant messenger, backpage, etc.
All of those have been used to lure victims/meet victims.
Serial murder does not change. Just adapts with each new advancement at the time. Not just serial but ordinary murder as well.

(FYI, Constanzo also had a profit motive.)

Comment suis-je différent?

Lo sé!

I think I know, mate!

I know for sure!

Ich bin fast sicher, dass ich es weiß!

Landru was in the early 1900s.
They never actually found the bodies of his victims.
I'll say to cover up another crime? Such as robbery?
I am going by your definitions you posted on another question.
All I can think of. Although I know of the case I find Landru boring so I don't know a lot about the case. I know his face and the basic facts about the case. Pretty much it. Not every single case is interesting enough for me to study obviously.

There is nothing subtle about the answer to this question. You can probably get the information you need to answer correctly from Wikipedia. Motive ain't the issue.
