'Fluffy's Law' did not pass in our province, which is terrible news for sheltered animals. It means building owners are allowed to refuse tenancy to pets. It makes homes scarcer. We said 'F that' (like any good New Yorker or Bostonian) and are an hour from the capital city. :-) We grow our food and now have seven. As we said, 'F that'. LOL!

No, those cities aren't part of Long Island. Long Island is separate and there are a ton of cities (actually towns, not big cities) on Long Island that, for the most part, people outside of New York haven't heard of before. It's just easier to say Long Island or New York.

Manhattan is a borough and it's on its own island.
Liberty island, I guess you mean the Statue of Liberty? That's by itself. Right, no towns there.
