@Agnieszka -- the fourth book in the Jack Daniels series was a lot less graphic than the third. You might be ok continuing this series.
@ Agnieszka: I pick

My next five:

At Bluebonnet Lake by Amanda Cabot - 9/4/17 ♥♥♥♥

Thanks so much for the pick, Agnieszka. It was a warm and loving Christian romance that left me with a peaceful feeling.

That's a great idea Connie! Since I plan to start/read my book this week I'll do it the same way :-)
My pick for you Connie is:

Yes, exactly. A bird's-eye view. And thanks for the back-up pick.

You're welcome, and thank you for your answer :-)

Wow, 5 open books for this challenge, Jennifer? I thought I was being proactive by having 2. So I guess I'd better have another one ready to go...
Jennifer, I'll pick

I'm in the mood for a hot-guy cover, so here are my next choices:

You might be happier skipping that and going to the fourth book. It was too much for me and I work in 911 for god's sake. :-)

Are there any spoilers in book 4 regarding Rusty Nail?

I hope so - I'm still working on my two open books :-) With the Christmas time it took a little longer than planned *grins*

If Jennifer will continue to host it? If not, I'll figure something out!

yeeeees.. and I would start it IMMEDIATELY if it would just have an ice-cream or a tiger on the cover, or be a series #11, or if the MC would speak a language I don't know, or if it would have the word "catacomb" somewhere in its text, or if its title would start with an U.... it's really not my fault that this book is so very unhelpful and inconsiderate!

ok. my book STILL doesn't fit anything I would need but I finally started reading it because I couldn't stand seeing my task here unfinished any longer, lol.
Hopefully it will turn out to be a good read, at least :D

And maybe your next pick will fit half a dozen other challenges! :)
Jennifer, you can bet for my next five I will only choose books I can use someway or the other, lol!
I've finally, FINALLY finished my book
What a nice cover for such a booooooring book. It's less than 200 pages but it felt like reading a door-stopper. So dull, flat characters and I could guess the solution to the murders early, a thing I'm usually not good at.
I had the next in series on my kindle as well but deleted it instantly. Very glad I'm done and over with it!

a) Well, i'm glad you got that ruled out so that you don't have to worry with it any longer!
b) i actually read that about two weeks ago for a challenge and I recommend it to you, peacock and all!!! I'll stick the Vincenzi in the queue for this month. Did you know she died yesterday? I love her books so that was not good news...
C: For Rosa I pick

My next five:

Jennifer... sorry, I can't remember that you recomendet a book for me! 😨
I haven't heard the news from Vincenzi, either... actually, I have never heard from her before.
Thank you for the pick, I do need a cover with fire on ig so I hope I'll get to it soon! I've read some books from another series from Meg Muldoon and I think I've liked them, lol

Actually, i was saying that I recommend "East of the Sun" -- I think you might like it!
Sorry Jennifer! How embarassing.. my family keep telling me things I'm sure I've heard for the very first time with: we've told you before!!! And now it happens with written stuff, too! I'm not yet forty, how can this happen?! I'm going to check it out now, because, peacock!!!!, you know 😄
Edit: I still love the cover, but not even a peacock will make me read historical fiction.. but thank you for recomending... twice! :D
