And just for fun, I'll post a different set of five than my message a few posts ago :

An Argumentation of Historians (Chron. of St. Mary’s #9), by Jodi Taylor, finished 7/17 ★★★★.5

Snowfall on Cedar Trail by Annie Rains - 7/30/23 ♥♥♥♥

It continues with a pleasant romance series that I've been enjoying. Looking forward to the next one.

Trouble in Spades by Heather Webber - 8/22/23 ♥♥♥♥

Not sure why it took me so long to read this second-in-series, but I'll try to get to Series #3 sooner rather than later.

The Brewery Murders (Yorkshire Murders #9), by J.R. Ellis, finished 9/7 ★★★.5

My next 5:

And so I shall! Thank you, Marla!

Thanks Connie, I really like that cover.

Once Upon a Castle by Nora Roberts - 9/22/23 ♥♥♥

Thanks, Marla. I didn't rate it highly, but I think that was more about my mood than about the book. There were some fun moments in a good selection of short stories, but they just didn't hold my interest. I'll continue with the series later because I do like these authors usually.

My next five (almost the same as my last five):

Already Home by Susan Mallery - 9/24/23 ♥♥♥♥

This was a pleasant character study. I liked that it featured a couple of 40-somethings looking to build something more substantial than a superficial romance.
The Beginning of Everything by Jackie Fraser - 9/29/23 ♥♥♥♥

My next five:

The Accidental Alchemist (Accidental Alchemist #1), by Gigi Pandian, finished 10/1 ★★★.5

Already Home by Susan Mallery - 9/24/23 ♥♥♥♥..."
I have 3 of her books on my tbr (now 4), but I've never read any. Which of her series do you recommend? I had planned to listen to them.

More like dozens of them, but one is a good place to start, thanks :)

My next 5:

My next 5:

Lol and you’re hoping I’ll read it and let you take credit?

...Lol and you’re hoping I’ll read it and let you take credit?..."
I would never do that :D...but I'll definitely add it to my Mt. TBR if you like it. (I'm actually planning to do a different task for the reading challenge...but there's always next time.)

An Unexpected Peril (Veronica Speedwell #6), by Deanna Raybourn, finished 12/8/23 ★★★★
