@Ayla Yes I am totally ok with buddy reading Made You Up as well! I’ve had it on my shelf for a while too! I don’t know when we will do it but we definitely should!
Haven’t read it

Haven't read it
(I'm wondering if it's okay to put books I never read here just so I get people's feedback xD and I never put Portuguese books, I'm gonna start putting some haha)
@Becca Awww it's okay, even though I love them (and want to finish reading the series one day - I have almost all of them in PT, except they never translated the whole series, so a friend got me the rest in EN ebooks). I wonder if I will love the end tho *sweats*
@Ayla Yes! I would love to BD Made You Up. I have it already :3

@Regs that's what I've been doing - books on my TBR so I know if to keep them or not haha
That really sucks that they didn't translate it all :/

Haven't read it (but I really gotta)
@Becca Right? I mean, I own more books in English than in any other language, but it kinda ruins the whole collection vibe if I suddenly get the last ones from another edition

@Regsly I’ve been doing that pretty much the whole time so don’t feel guilty.
@Becca I want to try A Series of Unfortunate Events. I was afraid to read the books as a kid for some reason so I never read them but I want to try.
Haven’t read it (yet. Key word is yet)

@Ilsen: I just found the books dull tbh. But mostly it's because I can never get into that sort of narration style.
@Regsly: Surely if they started translating the series they can finish it though? So stupid imo

Haven't read it (I did read the Night Circus and I hear from everybody that it is similar, is that true?)

Haven't read it
Bloodshot by Cherie Priest
@Becca I believe they lost the rights to the books. Then some years later the publisher closed OTL
@JanEyre9 Simon is so good <3
@Ayla I have it, I still haven't read it. I really want to
@Cordelianne did you enjoy Night Circus?

Listening to the audiobook atm. I like it, but I'm not as blown away as I was hoping.

I'll be reading it next week for a readathon! So I'll let you know how it goes!

Haven’t read it (which is sad because I had the book since release date)

@Becca Yes, it is! One of Alan Moore's many works. I have it since forever, but I haven't read it yet.

@Regsly: I think I've seen it at my library. I don't mind graphic novel adaptions, but they aren't always down my alley. I think I need to be in a particular mood.

Hated it (well at least not hate, but I did not love it as much as everybody seems to love this book. I think I gave it like 2.5 stars..)

While the movie for A Walk to Remember made me ball my eyes out I refuse to read an author who in 2018 STILL only writes about cis-gender white hetero couples. It's real old.

Books mentioned in this topic
A Walk to Remember (other topics)An Unkindness of Ghosts (other topics)
The Last Song (other topics)
The Raven Boys (other topics)
Queens of Geek (other topics)

Would you guys be interested in buddy reading "Made You Up"? It's been sitting on my shelf for quite a while and I think it would make a great book to discuss :)
