Find the edition you read from the All Editions list
In the url for the edition's main book page there is a GR id number "...book/show/35424357...."
You can form the link

Thank you for showing me that - with some of the classics, it has been tough to link to editions but this one was the worst so far!
That is the edition I read (via the Hoopla app) - I actually had to add it myself, so I knew it would be all the way at the end.

You attempted to add it, I'll take it.
If that was the edition and you have the asin you can enter the asin at "add book/author" and it will take you directly to that record.
Indicate add cover and it generates the link for your post.

What I usually do is bring up the edition I read in another tab. I then add the first edition that comes up to my post and then copy the GR ID number from the URL and paste it in over the number in the link that was created.
I find this so much easier than trying to find my exact edition in the add book tools as even if there aren't a lot of editions there are still often several different editions with the same cover and I never know which one of them was the edition I read.

If you read an ebook, or audiobook use the page count for the mass market paperback if one exists. If there is no mass market paperback edition, use the paperback edition and if no paperback is available use the hardcover edition.
If there are multiple editions in a format see the rules for the method to determine page numbers.

Louise Erdrich is one of my favorite authors, so I have to put in my 2 cents here.. The Blue Jay's Dance: A Birth Year is NOT a children's book. It is a very adult memoir which just happens to speak about mothering. I read this one a while back and am not reading it for this challenge, but I'll have to look up that thread that takes care of this issue.

The same genres are showing for all editions now. I have not seen "real time" genres appear differently between editions. But GR changes things (we don't know or understand why) and if the page is not refreshed they may appear different.

I'm trying a new way of posting, including posting mostly one task at a time, and it is confusing me mightily. I like to wait awhile before making another post to give you guys (mods) time to review and update the readerboard, and I know that takes time. How many tasks is it reasonable to post at a time - 2 tasks or no more than 3 books at a time?
I think I missed posting a task, that causing my total to be off. I posted the task that I think I missed and I will monitor readerboard and this space.
Thanks for all the hard work and dedication.
