I've started but didn't get far because of small domestic crisis. So far ok, with one slight reservation, but I shall wait and see - it may not be important.

Did anyone else read this? I thought it was quite good, though I wasn't too keen on DCI Sophie Allen. Maybe she improves in later books.

I liked the writing and the mystery. DCI Sophie Allen comes across as competent and sympathetic but not really anything else. SHe doesn't really have as strong a presence as most other protagonists in police procedurals.
