Rose and Mal got married and moved away. Were you surprised at that development?

[Phrynne]

I was surprised. Isn't it odd the way things happen between books. Sometimes I feel as though I must have missed a book out even though I know I haven't!

[Jonetta]

I felt the same way, Phrynne. We were well into the story before any mention was made that Rose was gone. You knew she was because the O'Connor household was on their own. When we last left them, Rose was conflicted about having a relationship with Mal. This caught me off guard.

[Angela]

Agreed. I thought I had missed a book for a moment as well. I was very surprised by the development. I did think they would end up together, but not so quickly.

One of the things I enjoy about the series though is the sense that time is always moving forward.

So did I, Angela! I almost went back to check the last book:)

I do appreciate that they move the timeline forward between books.
