Sadly I don't think I have any answers for you. I personally couldn't care less what a person's sexual preferences are because I don't it matters as long as you're happy with the person you're with. I can kind of understand what you're getting at with guys being... speedy, but I don't think you should concentrate on the gender of a person. You like her, you go for her. And since you're such an awesome person I do think that you have a chance with her^^

I know that feeling of imagining a scenario that seems incredibly unlikely. I had a crush on the guy I am currently dating - yes we are officially dating now *squeals* - for a while and I kept thinking about how it would be if he actually cared about me the same way. As it turns out he actually did feel the same way. What I'm trying to say is that regardless of how impossible it seems you never know unless you try. Maybe she likes you, maybe she doesn't. But wouldn't it be better for you if you knew for certain?

I think you should be honest to her. I'm probably the last person to tell you that because I'm no better at telling people how I feel but I do think it's important.
And I've always thought that I wouldn't be clingy but now I find myself missing my boyfriend and I hate myself for it >.< I feel so clingy.

Thank you! I hope so too. But sometimes the best things come from the worst scenarios. If you learn something from your bad experiences then doesn't that make them worth at least something?

And it won't if you try to make it a good one. I've learned that expecting it to be a bad experience will often make it worse. I try to stay neutral to the situation and make it a good one. But then again, it can always turn bad if something goes wrong. But the other Nessie, isn't she worth it?

She will never be horrified. You are a great person and while she may not reincorporate your feelings there is no way that she would be horrified.
You are such a strong person, I am certain that you can do it. You might not do it today, or tomorrow, but you will do it. There's no reason to be afraid because you can do it. It might not be the result you've wanted but even if it isn't you will see that knowing is better than not.

Well, maybe you could somehow start a conversation over that. I dunno, mention a news snippet or something. Then you can find out her opinion. She probably won't tell you if she's gay, maybe she's afraid, I don't know, but you will find out if she's homophobic.

You're not a coward. It's normal to be scared and careful when it comes to a sensitive topic such as this. Truthfully I don't think I would ever be able to tell anyone how I feel if they didn't say anything first. I think it's good that you have a plan.
