There's a book I read a few years ago that I THOUGHT was by Hannah Howell, but browsing through her bibliography hasn't revealed anything, so I'm wondering if someone can help...

In the beginning of the novel, the heroine is heavily pregnant, poor, and alone. I believe she was once part of a wealthy family, and was in love with a nobleman, the hero, but obviously something happened where the hero feels betrayed, and she ends up pregnant by someone else. Fast forward to her current situation, she encounters the hero, potentially exchanges some harsh words, panics, and turns around to flee. As she runs, she falls and injures herself, and the hero brings her to her home where he helps her give birth. As I said before, I thought it was a Hannah Howell book, but if it is, I can't figure out which one.

I think I figured it out. It's called A Scandalous Marriage, and it's by Cathy Maxwell. I can't find it in my library's online catalog, but it sounds like it.
