Review:
I loved this book like all the others but seriously Tim, why do you have to be such an ass! Back with the gang of misfit friends that are a perfect group of friends, with Cooper, Tim and Julian... oh yeah and Dave. The guy's are drunk - again, what's new. Tim, your sister's upset that she's now a elven vampire, give her some support! OMG Dennis and Randy need to be together, I didn't like them at first for obvious reason but NOW I want them to be a couple; they are kind of in that sort of relationship already so - Make it official guys!
Mordred you fucker, now that your in the C&C too, they have an easier time to get to you, hurt you and then force you to get them back home in the normal bodies! And Tony the Elf, you just crack me up with your sass and your humor. I feel so bad for Chaz, the poor bard - he's doing his best with what he has! I love Ravenus, Julian's familiar, he is such a good bird companion; I love how innocent he is and that he takes everything literally. And Cooper leveled up, oh yeah, and Julian leveled up to, he became a level 3 sorcerer! I think Butterbean, vampire/elf Katherine's Animal Companion, is so cute. I do feel sorry for Tim in the end, I hope he makes up with his friends and all is forgiven because I feel like he needs to be redeemed from these bad choices.

I love Josh Lanyon's imperfect characters (again, with the exception of Jake, who I hate) I liked Jason's voice and his thoughts about his relationship with Sam, his family, his work, his co-workers. His heartbreak was palpable. The mystery was good. I'm looking forward to book 3.

Review: I liked this a little more than the first book. But I'm still having trouble warming up to Rizzoli. I kind of hated her in book 1. After book 2 I don't hate her anymore but she still isn't a very warm character. I hope that the next books in the series have new and different bad guys. I'm not a big fan of a series with only one main villain. But the way this one ended I'm going to guess (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

I enjoyed Brennan and Tiernan's story and liked them as a couple. There was a lot of action with a little humor and a twist that surprised me thrown in too. I liked that characters from earlier books made appearances and catching up with them. I am really looking forward to Alaric and Quinn's story. Unfortunately it is the last book in the series so I have a couple more to read before that.

Marc works as a night security guard for Benton's Pharmaceuticals until one night when he finds his partner dead in one of the labs. A plague ridden cat is releases by accident. Finally the surviving group have found the bunker, and things look good. I really enjoyed the ideas in this story. And a lovely look at and through the English countryside. Somethings seemed a bit convenient but I'm not complaining! I have to carry on with the series, I have to know what happens next!

Review: This one was just okay. There was a lot of focus on the secondary characters and not enough on the MCs. Lots of abuse too. Poor Matty just couldn't catch a break. But it all worked out in the end.

Allie is settling in to life on Mackinac Island but she still has a knack for finding dead people. I really like Allie's character and her group of friends that help her investigate. The mystery was intriguing and kept me guessing up until the end. Allie's puppy, Marshmallow aka Mal, is adorable and smart too. Mackinac Island sounds like a place I would like to visit to get away since no cars are allowed on the island.

Review:
One year after the zombie plague, the survivors in Kentucky struggle on. They have faced swarms of undead and the war with living. I enjoy the characters in this series are just normal people in crazy circumstances, and are attempting to do the right thing and occasionally they fail. Hearing about the characters adventures and difficult decisions in this new wold. Most problematic thing as this series carry's on, bigger the group the bigger the problems that come from it.

I love this series. Author Avon Gale has great main characters, dialogue, hot scenes and secondary characters. My only complaint is that the character Shane seemed much younger than 36, but perhaps being single and a professional athlete explains that. I think it may be time to start this series over again.

Review: I read these for something quick and easy and when I feel nostalgic. They are cheesy and overuse the word sleuth but I still enjoy them. Plus Laura Linney is the narrator of the audiobooks and I love her.

This series seems to be headed in a new direction and I like it, especially with the end of the love triangle. I am always entertained by Mel, Angie and Tate's antics and the movie quotes. Angie has turned into a bridezilla during the course of wedding planning and Mel is trying to clear her college roommate of suspected murder. I was surprised at who the killer turned out to be as the mystery kept me guessing. This is one of my favorite cozy mystery series and I can't wait for the next book.

Review:
After 5 books of suspense and bad-ass demigods and waiting for the 'END GAME' as well as a big boss fight with Gaia and she's.... not that scary or worthwhile as a BOSS character. Defeating Gaia in one hit... total boss qualification right there. *sarcasm* The beginning was a bit slow for me. I was disappointed that there was no Percy POV's in this.
I didn't like it that one of my favourite characters, Percy, was beat up every time he was brought up in the book - well done for making your MAIN hero that weak. Because no one cares that he was one of the only people that was able to save the day in the Percy Jackson and the Olympians was Percy himself... he was a kid then... his an teen in this one?! He was reduce to being a punching bag - was hard to read.
And a.... Ugh, an open-ended-ending. Sigh. No.... just no! (view spoiler) Why???! Just why?!["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>

Review: I liked it but not nearly as much as Loving Jay. The MCs basically jump right into a relationship within the first couple of chapters. I much prefer the meeting and build up to falling for each other. Each MC had their issues but despite the seriousness of the issues this book wasn't angsty. It was lighthearted and fun and I loved seeing Jay again.

Barbarian Alien

This series, Ice Planet Barbarians, is so much fun. I am delighted that book 1 wasn't a fluke. I have read very little MF romance in the past few years, but junky alien books appeal to me. I can't seem to find this type of book in an MM version (that isn't mpreg, or I haven't already read) and every time I go on a search for it, this series pops up, so I finally tried it. It has all of the things I like in this genre - -enough plot to keep me interested, but not so much real sci-fi that I feel bogged down, an interesting alien & planet, almost too much sex, good characters and dialogue. We saw a bit of the MCs from book 1, and enough of the the other alien and human characters that I am interested in their coming stories. MC Liz was a bit of a snarky bitch, but she's had a rough couple of months; I don't blame her.
I'm looking forward to continuing this series, and it is available through Kindle Unlimited, so that makes this really easy.

I enjoy the insight this series provides into Amish life. It is interesting to me and the author blends it into the stories very well. I was not as surprised by the identity of the killer in this one as I was in the previous book. The way it all played out was still pretty crazy though. Kate and Tomasetti deal with tumultuous news but still find a way to pull through it all.

Review: I enjoyed this more than book 5. I liked the whole mystery/action part of the story. But Bones and Cat's chemistry is losing some of its umph. That's what happens with established couples so I kind of expected it. Still a great series
