History: Spinel was created in Kindergarten the same day as Amethyst and when it was attacked by the Crystal Gems, she managed to be spared after fleeing the scene, not wanting to be poofed. As the years went by Spinel has grown fond of humans and decided that she was gonna help the Crystal Gems fight against Homeworld. When Steven was born was when she joined the Crystal Gems, but she joined only for a bit before deciding to once more leave.
Personality: Spinel is, well different from a lot of gems. She's fond with humans and thinks they're interesting. She's been studying humans and protecting them against those who would do harm to them. Wielding her scythe she keeps protecting those on Beach City during the night where she won't be seen. She wants humans to live in peace.

Species: Gem

History: Similar to jasper in formation and exit, though he came out a little late (resulting in a male form), He was classed similarly to Rubies. Despite combat prowess the Diamonds refused to give him deserved rank. he was sent to earth to find out Jasper's situation but found nothing but the Crystal Gems, believing the Crystal Gems to have been eradicated during the war, he mistook them for a scouting operation. They eventually convinced him to their side, earning themselves a militaristic advantage.

Personality: A war hardened Gem with a long history of being placed lower than his worth. He thinks strategically, leaving nothing to chance. sometimes he will forget he isn't a soldier anymore and wait patiently for orders until someone reminds him. Prefers older forms of weaponry to the new aged tech.

History: Star Sapphire was created on Homeworld thousands of years ago before the rebellion on Homeworld. Being a sapphire she was higher then any other gems, especially pearls. During the revolution on Homeworld Star Sapphire ended up being turned back into a gem and bubbled and brought to Earth by the rebellion. When Steven was a young boy he accidentally freed Star from her bubble and she reformed. Star was confused by her surroundings and when she noticed the gem on Steven she thought he was Rose Quarts. However upon realizing that he wasn’t they had offered her a spot in the rebellion. She had refused however and left without a word. However she had began to grow fond of animals and humans then decided to become a Crystal Gem. However during a fight with an enemy a year ago she was turned back into a gem once more, but this time she reformed into a dress with stars on it to show she’s now a crystal gem.
Personality: Star is kind towards certain people but to those who threaten things she likes she can be hostile. Being a sapphire type she was more part of a higher class but she enjoys fighting against those who threaten others. She still likes Blue Diamond.

yeah he prefers he, and usually yes but this is an AU so you can have a male Gem, as long as you explain why it's different.

like Citrine was a little "overcooked", which usually would cause some kind of malformation, but in this case changed it to where he prefers a male form

And an (unrelated) interesting fact, citrine is classified as a type of quartz.

yeah, he prefers he, And usually yes but this is an AU so i can have a male Gem. as long as you explain why, and i makes sense, you can do anything really.

Like Citrine was a little "overcooked", and as far as i can tell it would usually alter the coding to simply change appearance and personality, but in this case it altered him to the point that he prefers a male form and has a male voice. Make sense?

Yeah sure, and X is fine. I didn't actually think about how we were going to put in locations. Maybe we do it like 1x1 groups i've seen where you have a group of people with their own topic and they go where they want to. Does that work?

For how long has he been a Crystal Gem. Spinal's been one from since she left Kindergarten till after Steven was born was when she left and Star's only been a Crystal gem for a year or two

I was going to say that he just hasn't been a Crystal Gem for very long, but it just occured to me that we could RP his arrival.

Considering that he prefers Old war tech it would make sense that he would use a slow ship with near useless comms, so he would have no idea what was happening on Earth and Homeworld, meaning that the only knowledge he has of the subject is that Jasper and Peridot failed
