How do you guys think he feels about Aelin/Celaena?Judging by what I heard,he seems kind of in love with her.If he is,then this might end up badly for him.
hahahahaahhaha! yeah, I liked so much Aedion, but not really all the incest think! Don´t know what you think girls, but I´d like that he could be like a gorgeous elder brother. The kind of brother that will kick in the ass whoever dares to hurt Aelin (including Chaol if he still can´t decide his feelings about Celaena) XD Maybe as overprotective as Damon.Don´t know I think it could be better, Aelin already has too many guys and noo siblings!

I love Aedion, but I don't think he's in love with her! He's just sort of the fiercely overprotective dedicated brother who's willing to do anything for his cousin. Can't wait for their reunion!
Aedion is definitely one of my favourite characters in HoF! He's just amazing and I can't wait to read more about him and I want him to meet Aelin as soon as possible, that will be heartbreaking. As to if he and Aelin will end up together? I don't think that anything romantically will happen between them, but maybe in the not so near future when Aelin has defeated the King and overtaken the throne they will rule together? Or something like that.
I like Aedion well enough. I certainly have to admire his courage to serve under the king of Adarlan while still remaining loyal to Terrasen. I hope he isn't killed while imprisoned in the Castle. Ideally for me, after all is said and done. I see Dorian as the new, benevolent King of Adarlan, Aelin rightfully restored to her Kingdom, and Aedion an ambassador/liaison between the two.
May be I´m crazy, but I think Ansel could be a good couple for Aedion... she´s as badass as him... and I don´t like all the incest thing!
I think Aedion will be paired off with Manon, because of this pin: http://www.pinterest.com/pin/24685362.... Little Red and the Wolf (of the North). I could be really off but I immediately thought that, and I think they would be a good match for each other once Manon sides with Aelin (if she will).

I completely fell in love with the character of Aedion. I just want him free and reunited with Aelin and given everything he dreamed of. I don't think him and Aelin together counts as incest at least not in their universe. Even if they turn out to be first cousins it's been referenced that its acceptable in their society. Roosevelt and his wife were cousins.
I think he's just so worried about losing her again, maybe that's why all his care and protectiveness comes off as incest? And I think he admires how much she's done, his little cousin changing so much? Maybe.
I also have that question cause a part of me think that it seems to be romantic the way he loves her but I don't like that a lot, and not due to the incest thing (as Liz said, it is acceptable, even in our own world), is just because Aelin needs a relative, a cousin and may be a good brother. It's enought of probable lovers for her!
I have to say it!!!! I'm soo afraid for Aedion's fate in the king's hands!!!! What do you think the king is doing to him???
I think his love for Aelin is more like undying devotion. Its basically the reason if they end up together I wouldn't mind it because he's the only person who's feelings for her have never come in question and probably never will. But I think that they'll have a brother/sister relationship. Most people seem to think that a romantic relationship is weird between them and it was stated in the book that they could pass as twins that also seems to add to the incestful vibe,
I'm so afaid too Noris! Ever since Sabrine posted a theory of Aedion's mouth being sewn shut, that has been rolling around in my head. We know that the series is going get progessively more tragic, but Aedion has to have a joyful reunion with Aelin! He deserves it so much.
Aedion better live. It would so heartbreaking, if he dies before he even gets to meet Aelin.. or as soon as he sees her. Since the king is keeping him alive for a few months :/
Liz, I really hope I'm wrong and if I am, the king is bound to do something to him. After considering everything and going through Sarah's pinterest, it would make sense for Aedion to live. Aelin has lost enough people in her life that this time around, she won't be late in saving someone she cares so deeply for. Aedion has had enough background story and POVs that Sarah wouldn't get rid of him that easily.
Going back on Chaol's words in HoF, I think we're supposed to see Aelin and Aedion working together to command an army and bringing together Terrasen. Aedion is the one with all the ties to the rebels and survivors. She'll need him.
If those aren't reasons enough, I'll move to my next theory. Sarah's tweets show that she reallyyy likes her hot male characters. For this reason, Aedion will live so she can continue to write about him and all his hot male gloriousness lol!
If I end up being completely wrong about his survival...I will be frozen in shock for a very, very long time and then I'll go into bubbling hysterics. Sarah cares about the mental well-being of her readers right?
I hope so.... Even if my sanity has been damaged since my HoF reading. I just don't know what else can I read to half-forget my ideas about HoF!!!!And about Aedion, I'm pretty sure he will survive, but I'd hope no more injuries than lashings... (that will be awfull enought)

I thought a Court of Thorns and Roses was coming out next month and I was really looking forward to it. Nope. Not until May. So sad.
Lashings wouldn't be so bad. He and Aelin could bond over them x)We know that in the vision the Valg gave Aelin he's alive and part of her court, so there's that at least.
Speaking of the vision I know that it was given as a "warning" and we're not suppose to root for it, but I sort of want it to happen in a weird kind of way. Am I the only one who feels like this?

I didn't mean her and aedion being together, although I'm pretty sure they aren't a couple on the vision. He's just there.What I meant is that in the vision Aelin is basically worshipped by her people as this all powerful ruler. All powerful isn't really a good thing, but I find that future incredibly interesting.
It's kind of like when you want your heroine to end up with the villian. He's the villian and in most cases that doesn't happen, but its still fun to think about.
I really like the idea of Manon and Aedion being together.... They're both strong and arrogants. I love Manon with all my heart, and if someone can be paired with him, I think she's the one. I like that theory.PS. Sorry for my english guys, I'm learning... maybe slowly u.u

Changuing a little bit the topic, do you think Aedion's life could be longer than usual? I mean, we all know his fae heritage, and even if he can't shift in a fae, may be his body can bare a long life. May be he gets old slower than other humans... I was wondering that.

I really hope Aedion does have a extra ability (whatever it is) him only having extra senses seems a bit... Not realistic... Considering a lot of people at that half fae place (sorry all of a sudden forgetting names) seem like they have way more abilities than him, and it's weird considering how much power Aelin has. Aedion has royal fae blood too so why isn't he stronger (wait does he have royal fae blood? I don't remember the history) (also how much fae blood does Aedion and Aelin have? (I think Aelin has 1/8 but I'm not sure))
Aelin has more fae blood cause she is part of Brannon 's offspring, in the same way she is a princess from Mab' s bloodline. That's why she is so powerful. Aedion doesn't have super incredible power, exactly like Galan and the Wendlyn king
If I had to pick one person I am most excited and anticipating for Aelin to meet/see again it would be Aedion. Period. I hope when she finds out about his capture she will kick-butt and save him... yeah:)
I just can't stop myself of dreaming with the scene. I'm sure Aedion will be exactly like a stone! He will never believe it! And I hope that Aelin could give him a big great hug!!!

I really like Aedion, fingers crossed we will see more of him in the next book! He's has a good sense of humour at times and is very admirable and protecting over Aelin! I just really want the two of them to meet up, hopefully it's bittersweet!!
And I also agree with Norris, Aelin already has too many guy and no siblings, so I don't believe that he will be a love interest for Aelin.

It wouldn't be that weird considering the setting of this book. Back in medieval days/that time this was ok (kinda iffy but it was fine).
Why is everyone so fricking worried about incest?! How many times must I mention that1. Pretty much EVERYBODY with magic is a tidbit related to Aelin.
2. They are merely distant cousins.
3. Other people in the book didn't mind!
4. He swore to protect her no matter what. I mean,honestly, he's pretty much the only character who truly accepts both Celaena and Aelin. ( cough, Chaol;cough, Rowan; cough,Dorian)

I'm starting to wonder if maybe one of the cadre fathered Aedion. He has super strength, hearing, and smell but he can't shift to animal form. His mother went to her grave without revealing who fathered him…what if it was one of the cadre and just like Evaline, Aelins mom maybe she was afraid to mention who the father was so Maeve wouldn't call claim to him. Aedion said he was brought over here( to Terrasen) when his mother passed….so maybe..what do you think? All the demi-fae said most of them were fathered by fae fathers who didn't know they fathered children….

Lorcan it's the very very very tall one, and he's dark haired (I THINK I'M NOT SURE)
