Help! whats the name of this book, I started to read it, never finished, and now I cant remember the name, author, etc....

There are two writers, and best friends. One of the friends (his name is really weird) is always winning at life, a better writer, has the perfect family and then he just disappears one day and leaves all his writings and the other friend takes over his life slowly, becomes a famous writer for taking credit for his friends work, and even ends up marrying the guy that disappears wife, but the replacement guy is still obsessed with finding his friend. The friend periodically messages the replacement dude and threatens him to never come search for him.
