Chapter 1

[Quintessa]

I thought that this was a rely great start to the book some of it kinda reminded me of the movie . The beginning of the chapter started off with Beth's going away party and how she didn't want it but her mother wanted to do it for her and i thought it was sad how she was telling her father that she didn't want to leave her family and that she wouldn't be able to see her baby nephew and she would miss her mother and father and her sisters. Then i liked the part where Beth and Julie are having sister time together and talking about how her father probably wont let her go see Beth and how Beth is going to stay their and meet some handsome man and get married. Then in the morning she gets to spend time with her nephew before her sister and brother in law leaves and how her father give Beth his compass and says that she will always be able to find her way home.
