Looking for books where the Hero is injured/wounded/ almost dies

Hi everyone!

As said in the topic, I'm looking for books where the hero is hurt and/or almost dies. I'm a sucker for books where the big, strong guys are vulnerable and the heroine takes care of them. Or when the heroine realizes she can't live without the hero after something happens to him.
I would be so grateful if you guys could recommend something!
