Main character Fighter (MMA) and gets transfered to alternate New York(?), Iron allergy, elves, golems, and evil magic casters.
Remember he goes to this elf that is like a mix of every rich action hero trope (lots of cars, rich, bodyguard some ninja half elf, knows tons languages, lives very tall building and so on)
He fights a bad guy later in book has habits of kicks or punches to below belt so he had his pocket knife and keys attached to outside of cup so when bad guy kicks him all the Iron get right into him and he dies.
Saw a second book had been published but never got to read it

Checked out from base library when in Saudi so wanna say it looked new and around 1994-1997
I remember seeing second book just came out but they did not have yet.
