So I've been real bad about commenting, so some of this may actually apply to previous sections.
I found a lot of the early going slow. I was interested in stuff in the tower, but little else. I'm sick of Perrin and Faile. I forget exactly how that plot resolves, but I was annoyed at him buying the bullshit that
One major thing of note here though was find out that Aran’gar is embedded in the Rebel Aes Sedai camp and seems to have a lot of inside knowledge. There are a lot of hints in this part as to who he is, but I'm not certain it's spelled out so I'll refrain from commenting further.
The other thing of note is that Beonin returning to the tower brings the tower on more equal footing with the rebels. Traveling especially is a super powerful thing.
The rest of this was mostly unmemorable to me, until we get to Mat finally. He became my favorite character by this point of my original read. I'm not sure why I enjoy him trying to court Tuon so much, but I do. Normally romance subplots bore me. Maybe because it's not your typical courting story. They make an interesting pair.
I could do without all the Aes Sedai shit during his chapters though..

Perrin does a truce with Seanchan with Mashima playing as the negotiator.
Faile is devising an escape plan from Shaido.
The forsaken are really becoming hard for me to remember with many coming back after deaths. also I don't get who is boss among them is it Moridin or is it Sahidar Haran, or are both of them same.
Cyndene is definitely Lanfear. Also Cyndene & Moghidien are especially serving Moridin.
In Mat's story so far nothing much happened.
If the book proceeds in this way, I am really going to be disappointed considering it is last book for WOT by Jordan.
Please keep all discussion and speculation to the events of Part 2 (Chapters 2-8).
