Judge Dredd video series in development

British TV production company IM Global has announced a video series based on the Wagner comic Judge Dredd, to be titled Judge Dredd: MegaCity One.

The comic has been adapted as a movie twice, once with Sylvester Stallone and more recently with Karl Urban.

No network/streaming service has been announced, so it's just a development project so far.

IM Global TV also has Cook's The Black Company in development. The only thing I've actually seen from them is a couple of DirecTV originals (Ice on the Audience network.)

Interesting. I didn't care much for the Stallone movie but I thought the second one with Urban wasn't half bad. It will be interesting to see how they handle it in a recurring episode format.

I enjoyed the 2nd movie. Never saw the first one.

I liked the first movie better than the second, but thought both were pretty dreadful. Good fodder for lunch on the weekend when I want to see a bit of something mindlessly entertaining.
