The title "I'll Be Waiting" is actually one of Chandler's short stories, included in the collection The Simple Art of Murder. From what I can find, this book was never published under any title other than The Long Goodbye.
Corrected. According to wikipedia's page on Raymond Chandler's bibliography: "The first edition was in the UK, where it was published as The Long Good-Bye; winner of the Edgar Award for Best Novel, 1955. Scenes based on the short story "The Curtain" (1936)."
