Picking a Group Choice Read

Here we will be discussing what some ideas are for a group choice read. From here, I will choose the top five books based on the replies and comments that books has received by you guys. So if you really loved let's say The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger then you should mention it, and if someone replies to your comment it is in the running for the group choice read. Once the top five are chosen a poll will be available and then you guys just vote on which one you would like to have most.
We will do this every month, with a new thread each month, since we are almost halfway through this month, this book will be for June to let you get a hang of it.
We will only read one book a month.
Also side note: don't nominate series, only stand alone novels, and don't nominate books that are too long. The limit is 700 pages!

I think we should read The Handmaid's Tale because it seems like a really interesting topic and it's a fairly quick read. Not only that, but it's also becoming popular again because of the show on Hulu, so people would be able to discuss it outside of the group as well.
