Megan Cheang | 142 comments I'm in favor of Elain picking Lucien. Azriel still needs time to get over Mor.

Laura✧˚ · . (shelby_) | 132 comments I've finished this book and I really liked it but it was really slow idk if that happened to you guys. After acomaf my expectations were really high and I love acowar but it wasn't what I was expecting at all. Anyways some things:
- I really didn't like the death bargain. I think Rhys and Feyre could live without each other and that idea of them not being able to do it it's kind of sad
-Now bryaxis is gone and they have to hunt him down maybe we'll get to see that in the upcoming novella
-The wall. I don't think there's going to be a solution anytime soon but I really hope they won't build it again. And Jurian thinks they could really find peace.
-Now we have Vassa. I really hope she could break free from that curse but I didn't like they way she talked to Feyre like she's entitled to help her just because she's Vassa relax!.
-Nesta. I don't know if she lost her power when the cauldron was broken or if she's still connected to it. I think she's going to hunt down the human queens bc they're still a threat hen and Vassa mentioned that they didn't want to use their armies in that battle so they might use them for another reason?
-Tamlin. I don't but his redemption arc at all but I'm glad he helped Feyre and she finally wrote a note to him
-Lucien. Idk how to feel about him I've never been interested on his character but I think there's going to be a book about him. There's so many things happening in the autumn court and there's the fact he's not beron's son but Helion. The story between him and the lady of autumn was king of sad
-Myriam and drakon. I screamed when they appeared tbh. I think their story is similar to Feyre and Rhys and I really hope we could read about it. And now the cauldron is in cretea so maybe that means something
-the winter court. I need a book about it asap. I love the winter court and I need to know if Kallias is going to made viviane her High Lady.
-Now amren. I wonder what she is. Is she an angel? A god? I know she's from another work where there are humans and she used to watched them and that's what angels do. I'm so happy in the end she didn't betray Rhys and her family but idk how to feel about her coming back I was happy but I was hoping for a death from the inner circle
-The king of Hybern is dead but there are still some fae people who are willing to follow what the kind started and that's king of worrying

Brittany (brittanybiesboergmailcom) | 70 comments the untitled novella is available for preorder on amazon. may 1st release date. it is listed as only 208 pages. who else thinks that it will exceed that like tower of dawn?

message 104: by Mellifluous (new)

Mellifluous | 5 comments I loved this book. I think my favourite scene was when they stole Elaine back from Hybern's camp and when Feyre fought the twins before she escaped back to Velaris. Also the scene where she brought the mirror to the Bone Carver. I just have a couple of questions about the magic described in this book.

There is a hint that Amren was the person responsible for resurrecting Rhys, (it talks about her final gift) so did the High Lords 'gifts' actually do anything to bring him back?
How did Feyre learn how to do that light thing to give to Rhys? I know that Thesan 'explained' but Feyre didn't really seem to be paying much attention.
If the High Lords did bring Rhys back to life, why didn't he keep a bit of their magic, and does he still have all of his original magic? Is he still the most powerful High Lord or has he been depleted by his experience?

Any attempts to answer these questions would be most appreciated.

Also, if I could pick who I would like the next three big books to be about, I would pick:

Nesta/Cassian
Elaine/Azriel
Mor/??? (perhaps someone when she goes to visit Myriam and Drakon)

I would also like novellas about Tamlin and Lucien. I feel that despite his faults, Tamlin still deserves a HEA.

l would also love to read more about Feyre and Rhys (if we could have a few PoV chapters in the next couple of books). Feyre still has lots of skills to learn and then there is also the question of the heir to the Night Court.

Can't wait to read more in this series. I am addicted!

Karen | 44 comments OMG! I power read this series this holiday weekend and I CANNOT get it out of my head!! so lots of rereading, starting at Calanmai, because, let's be real, I don't need the first part again, just to overanalyze all the Rhys parts! hahaha.
I thought I loved Rowan to the moon, but sorry, Rhys is way more my style (sarcastic, funny, etc) (Granted I do have a big soft spot for Fenrys)

Really need to get this book out of my head!! my work productivity is NOT good!

It's funny that you just posted this, because I was just thinking about how I wanted to reread these books this morning. Mainly because I saw that the Cassian/Nesta book isn't supposed to come out until 2020, and I'm wayyy more hyped for that book than any of the Feyre ones. I don't want to wait that long, so I need to relive all the Cassian moments in the already out books.

Karen | 44 comments 2020 is a LONG way off, eek! Although, I think it's an easier wait that KOA was, as the first three books could just be a stand alone, even though I want MORE!!!!!
major book hangover going on.

Karen | 44 comments Another thought...
They never go back to do much in the Court of Nightmares, it barely registers, they never stay at the palace atop the mountain, unless it's mostly there for show? I feel like it is underdeveloped. Just a place with a bunch of jerks, you know?

message 109: by Jenna (new)

Jenna Obremski | 48 comments I’m pretty sure the palace on the mountain is just for show. Like, that’s Rhys’s public home and the home in the village is his private one

I get that, but they never ever stay there?
But mostly, I'm getting at TCON, seems like Rhys or Mor or SOMEONE needs to be more involved? And Mor had to take care of it for years, but in the books, she is pained each time she has to go? Just undeveloped is all.

Zeyah Orozco (feyre_aelin) | 72 comments Don’t we need a discussion for ACOFAS?

message 112: by Zeyah (new)

Zeyah Orozco (feyre_aelin) | 72 comments Also, I totally thought Mor was lesbian in ACOMAF, so it wasn’t really a surprise. And I think there should have been bigger consequences for nullifying the cauldron, like no one died or anything and I’m not used to that. Rhys should have died. Or Amren should have died. Or something, there were no consequences and it was kind of disappointing.

Alexia | Right Writing Words (doodlepoodle0210) | 4 comments I think Sarah J. Maas is really hesitant to Kill of her characters...

message 114: by Kimberlee (new)

Kimberlee Boulden | 9 comments Yeah I agree, but that whole stunt she pulled with Aelin? It just trusted me because there was no point, not truly. For dramatic, story, or anything. It was just... ugh.
