What's the view from your window and does it affect your writing?

Welcome to a grey day in Kent, England. No it doesn't affect my mood I'm a grumpy bugger anyway. lol

Brit loaded this one for me and for some reason I can't write underneath- I was leaving for work a few weeks ago- This is my front yard- can you see Bambi visiting and eating my rhododendrons? She has two babies that live in my backyard. AND, yes, they inspire me.

SNOW? Although there were a few flakes of snow here a couple of weeks ago.

Nope- we had a random storm that was pretty big. I could look up the date- but I know it was after spring started.

We got a bit damp...

We have all our windows covered, to block out the sun -- it keeps our cooling costs down. And even if we didn't, I am not fond f the view. XD I do much of my writing on my Fire tablet, though, so I can write anywhere -- sometimes I'll go out to Disney World's Caribbean Beach resort, or to Disney Springs, and write there. :)

The view from my window is of a neighborhood in North Bronx, NYC. It could write its own stories :/

I am fortunate to have a view of the mountains and miles of open sky. It rarely fails to lift my spirits, and is often the subject of my writings.

My writing desk faces the wall because if I look out of the window, I start day dreaming.

I am so jealous Nancy. I would move closer to the mountains in a heartbeat if it weren't for all my family living in the flat Midwest.

I write late at night and it's pitch black outside, so I have nothing to look at. And like Anna, if I could see anything I wouldn't be able to write; it doesn't take a whole lot for me to get distracted.
