Alien romance/abduction where heroine wakes in some type of clear storage box with other aliens and earth animals in area. There is also a bird that she teaches to talk some words. I do not remember how they escape but aliens holding them captive have them hidden in an underground facility that is close to the hero's people. May be part of a series because seems like the bird being able to speak like the heroine is noticed by another character.

I gave the wrong title the first time I posted (they're all similar) so I've edited with the right one. Pretty sure now that it's book 2 but there's some overlap of the characters stories between the books, so you might check the others too.
