Any advice pls re changing book price in KDP?

Hi all

Published my first book recently, and went back to KDP to change the price, but days later it still shows the old price. When I log in at KDP it shows the updated price (as US$ price), and looking down the list of countries it shows the updated UK price, but Amazon UK still shows the old price. Any advice please?

Give it a few more days then contact support. I have had similar issue.

Thanks Jane, it did take a few days. Also puzzled again about the price - I set it to $3.99, so I understand the the other currencies fluctuate according to the dollar price, but now it is $4-odd on the .com website ... anyone had this happen?

Pretty sure the issue there is Amazon detecting which country you're viewing from and adding VAT / taxes, etc.

My $3.99. com price always shows as around $5 when viewed here in Italy, for example.

Elizabeth, which country are you viewing from? If you are checking the U.S. site from a UK ISP, then the U.S. site will only display the converted UK price to you. This is because UK customers are allowed to purchase from the U.S. site, but if they do they cannot get a better price than if they buy from the UK site. It's in the Kindle contract.
