Time frame

What were your thoughts about the time frame in which this story was set? I thought the author in large part excluded details that would tie it down, but the absence of cell phones and internet would've limited it to, say, pre-90's......Did they have Diaper Genies and boat navigation systems in the 80's??

Good points, Diane. I guess I was so engrossed in the story that I didn't wonder about cell phones or the Internet. What I DID wonder about, though, was who was it that actually rescued Hawley from that glacier after he was shot by the two women? Awesome description of the glacier breaking, too,...
