W. Lawrence | 111 comments Hey everyone, sorry I have been away from the group for so long. I hope this message finds y'all well.

I am writing a set of short stories called Syncing In: From the Case Files of Amara James. If you have never read the book Syncing Forward, this story is intended to stand on its own and requires no knowledge of the novel. I would love to get some ARCs into a few people's hands and get their feedback.

This story is called Uncanny Sally, and is just under 12,000 words (about 35 pages). There is no limit on the number of ARCs.

If you did read the novel, these will be tales of Amara's investigations that were only hinted at in Syncing Forward. Despite the book being a first person narrative from her father's perspective, many people commented that Amara James was their favorite character. So if you are looking to get a glimpse into her tortured soul, I would love to hear from you as well.

Anyone looking for a copy, send me a message and I will get you a format that works for you. Mobi, PDF, Word, whatever. In return, I am looking for some candid comments.

It's going to be free on Amazon regardless, but free isn't a get-out-jail-free card for shabby work. If it sucks, I would like to know before I put it out there.

That is all. Thanks for your consideration and I hope all of you have a great week.

Hey W.

I absolutely loved Syncing Forward in our Time Travel monthly Group read in 2015. And you damn right I want more of Amara :)

Thanks for writing this short story. I will message you and happy to give you feedback. I also hope a sequel will come along some day :) (view spoiler). I expect you will need to exercise you imagination a great deal if you do, for the sequel's setting.
