Need help finding a book about a lady pirate

I've been trying to find this book about a lady pirate for years and I've had no luck. Please help!

General synopsis: woman falls in love (of course). Man is either a pirate or buccaneer. They are madly in love and get married. Man dies at sea by the hand of the British, I think! Woman becomes a pirate and destroys primarily British ships for revenge. She may be impersonating as a man I can't remember.

The heroine and dead heroes best friend(he's a pirate too) start a relationship. He falls in love. She just wanted sex.

Then the hero is found alive, shipwrecked on an island. Hero was shipwrecked with a woman and they start a sexual relationship. It's just sex for him. He's in love with the heroine. The other woman falls in love with the hero.

After they are found the hero takes the other woman to his home or island. She is nothing but trouble for the heroine. The hero does not know until the end that the heroine became a pirate to avenge his death. I know the hero and heroine have a sword fight at the end. The heroine is pregnant by this time. There's at least 2 books in the series.. emerald keeps popping in my head, but that just may be coincidence. Any help would be appreciated!
