I've been on a Jayne Ann Krentz/ Amanda Quick reread binge.
But tomorrow I will have Pipedreams by Sarina Bowen and Marry in Haste by Anne Gracie

Oh, I love the new Gracie, Deb. And strangely, I have been rereading Krentz too. I reread all three of the Eclipse Bay books and had basically the same response I had more than fifteen years ago: entertaining reads but not JAK's best work.
Today I am reading Meg Benjamin's new one, Love on Tap.

I'm just home after a week in the hospital, where I should have been reading like mad, but sadly did not. Though I am halfway through A Curious Beginning by Deanna Raybourn and enjoying it. Veronica Speedwell is such a fun heroine!

I read Second-Chance Family by Karina Bliss. I like it. It was a mixture of tears and laughter. I just started Like Father, Like Son, also by Karina. I like her characterizations. This book is kind of confusing, though, because it's part of a series she wrote with other Harlequin authors and I feel as if I'm missing stuff.
Janga, I'm having a hard time finding books 2 & 3 in Meg Benjamin's Salt Box Trilogy. Is she having publishing issues?

Thanks, Irish! Not to hijack the thread, but one of my artificial valves threw a clot and it gave me a mild heart attack. Fortunately I now know my arteries are clear, and if I can keep my Coumadin level regulated, I'll be fine. It was scary, but no lasting damage thank goodness. But don't ignore chest pain, ladies! I was very close to doing just that.
Also looking forward to Pipe Dreams tomorrow!

I can't believe that I haven't read any of that Raybourn series. So many books I want to read . . .

Irish, Meg lost her publisher when Samhain closed shop. She self-published the Salt Box Trilogy, so I'm not sure what happened there. She recently signed with Entangled, and according to what she said on FB, they are going to reissue the Konigsburg books and perhaps publish some new books in that series. (Yay!) Maybe they will reissue the Salt Box books too.

Oh my lordy!! I'm so glad you're OK. Thoughts and prayers for a full recovery. xoxoxoxo <3

Thanks, Deb. I think you're referring to the Meg Benjamin Salt Box Triology? I read the first one already. Then yesterday, after searching both my Kindle and Nook apps, I realized that I have the second one (just not on the same app I have the first one!), but I haven't read it yet. So all I need is the third.
I also have a third app (Overdrive) that I use to download purchases from Harlequin and books I borrow from the library! My memory definitely isn't what it used to be so I should probably start cataloging all of this before my mind goes for good! LOL

This week I'm trying to read some of the books I've purchased but never got a chance to read. First up is Fortune Favors the Wicked & Passion Favors the Bold.
Irish actually I meant the Karina Bliss series. I like Meg Benjamin but the first salt box book didn't work for me. I should try the next one.
Just realized that a a new Sarah Mayberry comes out next week.
I did like the Anne Gracie, very much, although it didn't have some of the humor I like in her. Now I'm reading Pipedreams. I have to say I find the way the hero broke off with the heroine two years before unlikely but I alway like how she writes.
I am somewhat annoyed by the secondary romance which I thought deserved a book of it's own .

I absolutely loved the MARRY IN HASTE by Anne Gracie. I can't wait to see what she has in store for the girls. I'm hoping that they are the heroines in the rest of her marriage of convenience stories.
And I guess I thought that the secondary story in PIPEDREAMS you're talking about is getting it's own book. I figured it would probably follow the same time line as all the previous books and just concentrate on that couple as the other stories were playing out simultaneously, if that makes sense!
Irish, I realized I thought you meant Bliss' first series, where the last book is Second Chance Family. I don't think Like Father Like Son is her best work.
Yes, I thought the secondary romance in Pipedreams was going to get its own book. And deserves it.
