I adore birds. Hearing them sing makes me smile. Especially in the springtime.

I love across the street from a small farm. They have peacocks and peahens. They're beautiful. They also have a couple of donkeys, a goat, some sheep and a goose. I don't know what the peacocks do to the donkeys but once in a while I see the donkeys chasing them in circles. It's hilarious.

I write also and are into the process of my first novel coming out. Very exciting!
And fun to read someone play skipbo. Though it was several years back now, me and a friend I think played it almost all time when we met. We just "what are we gonna do?" "I don´t know?" "Maybe played skipbo?" "O yes!" Haha...
I also love SkipBo and playing with partners in SkipBo. Have you played it that why before? so much fun!
Sandy wrote: "I have never tried playing with partners, will have to try sometime! Uno is also a lot of fun!"
There are soo many versions of Uno and I love them all! Have you played Uno Attack?

Is trivial pursuit still around? For some reason my mind retains unimportant bs. I played it on my honeymoon. It contributed to my divorce. Seriously, the game contributed to my divorce.
I have to add I knew him 8 years and the marriage lasted 6 months thanks in large part to trivial pursuit. Lmao

As far as I know, Trival Pursuit is around, somewhere, maybe as an electronic game now.

Oh yeahhhhhhh!!!!
Patricia wrote: "Is trivial pursuit still around? For some reason my mind retains unimportant bs. I played it on my honeymoon. It contributed to my divorce. Seriously, the game contributed to my divorce."I'm sorry but this made me giggle more than it probably should have hehe
Giggle all you want Sandy. I learned quickly you never know someone until you enter into a legal contract with them. It was the best 160 lb loss of my life. Even my mother still laughs about it because we were married around Christmas and spent the holiday at my parents. She saw the explosion when he lost.
Being a divorcee myself, I can relate to this. Anyone ever play the Game of Life? I still have the version from the 80's. My sons and I play it often.
Life was one of my favorite games when I was a kid. I liked Glue and Stratego too.I learned how my parents and older sisters suffered when I had a daughter and I had to play Candy Land endlessly. I now know how much I tortured them.
Hahahahahha i haven't had the pleasure of playing CandylandI also loved the Game of Life and Monopoly and Trouble, and of course Hungry Hungry HIppos!!
Did anyone ever have the game pass the pigs? I bought it for my daughter for Christmas one year. It came with two little runner pigs that you threw like dice. You received points based on how they landed. There was shouted points, rail points, etc. I loved that game!
Is anyone else a coffee addict? I can't wait for my first cup in the morning. I moved from Connecticut to Tennessee 5 years ago and almost moved back because they don't carry any whole bean gourmet in any store here. For that matter they don't carry any gourmet period. Lately I buy on Amazon. I love blueberry cobbler and pumpkin spice flavors. Hmmmm I might have to go make a cup!
oh yeahhhhhhhhh without coffee i do not functionFor me it's all about the espresso, while other forms are enjoyed, the espresso is a necessity at least once a day!
Blueberry cobbler and pumpkin spice are also delicious but you can't find that round here. No need to panic though, lots of other delicious pastry and sweets to compensate. ONly thing i truly miss is bagels!
I like hot chocolate but not coffee. Used to drink coffee sometimes with my Dad but since I lost him I don't drink it. Isn't the same without Dad, he always added my milk and sugar for me me just the way I like it. Blonde!!! lol
Bagels yes I miss those. And half sour pickles!!!! The delis! I might have to rethink Tennessee. I don't want to insult anyone but this is the most backward place you can imagine. I think it's still stuck in the 50's. Grocery stores have no variety of anything. But then there's the drug trafficking and mobile meth cookers. Have you seen that program on A&E or a channel like that where sheriffs are going after bond jumpers and meth cookers in the backwood hills? It's like Cops but only covers a few backwoods hillbilly counties? rotfl THAT'S WHERE I LIVE!!!!!!! I'm not far from Dollywood. I'm a northern New England girl. I don't know what I was thinking.
I did 9 years active duty in the Navy and another 6 active reserves. I was all over the place in the US as well as Puerto Rico and S Korea. I had no idea places like this still existed. I honestly thought I had seen the world.
You haven't seen the world until you've visited backwoods northeast Tennesee.
I haven't seen one squirrel in 5 years. I have to asume they've all gone into stew pots. Lmao
I looked it up. The show is Southern Justice on National Geographic Channel. I had watched it a few times after I moved here but had no idea it took place here until a neighbor told me. Oh my how oblivious I am.

besides reading. I like listening to music. watching old vine video and funny falls on you tube. i like Rom com movies and drama shows. and I like having the occasional shopping trip and going to wineries and breweries.
Megan wrote: "sims 3 was the best but i cant deal with the graphics anymore"I don't think the graphics are too bad. I'm just so busy working/reading/watching starz and hanging out with my dog that I don't have spare time to squeeze in the game but, when I do play I mostly build.
Who here is a Marilyn Manson fan?

I've never been good at building but i always give it a try, do you upload your designs? I've just finished my uni exams so I think I'll play a bit tomorrow to see if I can get back into it.
I love motorcycle riding in the spring and summer. The fragrances are amazing! Other than that, I love gardening and photography. I live on Cape Cod with my husband of 25 years and my two adult children. For work, I have a bookkeeping business.

Yes I do :) I just started uploading again. Below is a link to my studio.

I don't have much up. The items I do have up are a bit old but, I am in the process of building in an empty world so I'll be adding more builds + sims throughout the summer.

I may get into it this summer and grow my own produce.

I used to have a very large vegetable garden and a separate rose garden. I haven't been able to have a large garden in years. I haven't been able to grow roses here on Cape Cod, too much fog, your continually fighting with mildew. :( What type of Produce do you think you will grow? My favorite was cantaloupe.
Deborah where do you live on the Cape? I'm from Connecticut but moved to Tenessee about 5 years ago. We use to vacation in Marblehead when I was young. Before it was discovered and over populated. Did you get hit with those horrible storms?
Patricia wrote: "Deborah where do you live on the Cape? I'm from Connecticut but moved to Tenessee about 5 years ago. We use to vacation in Marblehead when I was young. Tennessee is okay. It's kind of beverly hillbillyish where I am. There are a lot of things I miss. I can't get decent whole bean coffee, a decent sub sandwich, fresh fish, the list goes on and on.It's pretty here. I'm in the Smokey Mountain area. If you've ever seen that show Southern Justice that's filmed in the county I'm in. If I had seen the show before I moved I would have thought twice about it. This is basically the meth capital of the country. Lmao
People from the south are so much nicer than people in CT though. It's gotten ridiculous there. Over crowded and uncivil.

I would honestly like to grow my own strawberries, banana, and lettuce. I'd also love my own apple tree. Those are the ones I typically spend the most on at the grocery store.
I used to ride a motorcycle when I was young (and drive very fast sports cars) but I haven't ridden in years. I just had the state remove motorcycle from my license recently because I no longer trust that I could safely control one. Still like fast cars, though I now drive a (yawn) Chevy Malibu.
Is anyone else a news junkie? I'm addicted and if there was a rehab facility I'd check myself in. It's so bad I got rid of my cable because I had news on 24/7. During campaign season for the last presidential election I was throwing things at my TV. I think a lot of it is because I'm a navy vet. I thought reading the news online would be safer for my TV and for my sanity. It isn't. Now I throw my phone or tablet.
It's especially bad right now because I worked in intell and even worked at the National Security Agency for four years. I cannot believe the political corruption that has taken root at NSA, the FBI, the Justice Dept.... It breaks my heart because intell agencies should never have any political slant EVER.
Anyway I was wondering if anyone else was addicted like me.

I am the opposite most of the time. The news is depressing most of the time. There are a few good things on it but mostly sad things like shootings. I don't watch it very often.

Aly I may sound really mean right now but I've been laughing all day about an article I read. Someone tweeted a picture of Chelsea Clinton with Howdy Doody's face superimposed over her's. I wish there was a way to post the picture here. The resemblance is uncanny.I cannot feel sorry for her because of all the awful things being said about Ivanka Trump and many said by her. It use to be families of politicians (not that I think Trump is a politician) were off limits. It should still be that way. As they say karma is a b**ch.

Well, we all need to laugh more, I think!

I'm 45 years old. I'm located in Southern New Jersey. I've never been married. I have a 25 year old daughter and she is my only child. I have one sibling, my brother, who lives in California and I am older than him by 3 years. Both of my parents are still living, divorced and cordial with one another. I have an Associates degree in Business Administration with accounting and a Bachelors degree in Biblical Arts emphasis in Biblical Counseling. I work for social services in the Medicaid unit. My dream is to have my own school, youth center and a nursing home giveaway. I am multifaceted. I am a pastor, chaplain, teacher, musician, psalmist and author that is certified in caring for people God's way. Enough about me, tell me about you.
Lately, I've rekindled an old hobby I abandoned for a while (knitting), after I had a dream where I was knitting while listening to audiobooks. I woke up and tried it in real life, and it's been so much fun. I've finished four audiobooks while knitting a scarf for myself and now a blanket (made of mitred squares) for my husband. Why didn't I think of this before???Which makes me wonder...are there any other knitters (or crocheters) in the group? Or anyone else who multi-tasks with audiobooks while doing something else?
