I started reading this today... not at all what I was expecting! Favorable first impression.

I really liked this series. I wasn't sure I would like the back and forth between first person characters. But each book is a different two and it's always limited to two. It really works out well when you read all three.

Anyone else finished the first book yet? Not that you have to read all three to discuss. I picked up the other 2 even before I finished The Named; I knew I was going to want to read them all.

My review: Medium-well. I really liked Isabel. Ethan was a bit of a cad at times. I can't see where all the mixed romance lines are headed (they're almost braided together, knotted in places, and sometimes severed)--but I mention this as a good thing. If it were too predictable (which it can be in spots) I'd have to take away a star. I think the beginning is a bit misleading. Definitely will read the rest of the trilogy (maybe even this week!)

The ending felt a little rushed, but it's ok since I knew there were 2 more books.

Oh, and I liked the Prophecy.

I think you'll like where things end up. : )
