We decided on 7 weeks for this novel; one week per section. The read will begin on May 14 and run until the end of June. A detailed reading schedule is forthcoming.

Hi Victorians! I'll be leading the May-June discussion on the Mill on the Floss. As Renee said, it will be a seven week discussion.

Here is the detailed reading schedule:

May 14-20: Part One
May 21-27: Part Two
May 28-June 3: Part Three
June 4-10: Part Four
June 11-17: Part Five
June 18-25: Part Six
June 26-30: Part Seven & Conclusion

I find I am hopelessly behind now- still in Part I - too much happening to find enough time to read all the books I have committed to. Hope its ok if I post my comments whenever I'm done. I hope this will be before the group finishes reading the book.

The discussion threads stay open forever, so post whenever you're ready. You might not get quite as much response if some people have moved on, but some of us will the there waiting patiently for you!

I will try and catch up this week. I have read the book before but too long ago to remember enough details to simply jump in- hope I can read enough of it to be able to participate before it finishes.
