Courtney Judy (courtneyjudy) Oh! The one word title could also be a book set in a different country. It's set in London.

Trisha | 6892 comments I think I'll be able to complete 2 different lines

I have Row 5 - I just have 2 books to complete that I'm starting today.
You're Welcome, Universe by Whitney Gardner Count All Her Bones (Girl, Stolen, #2) by April Henry

and then 2 to complete column N - one I'm finishing tonight....

.. Night of the Soul Stealer (The Last Apprentice / Wardstone Chronicles, #3) by Joseph Delaney Silent by David Mellon

That's great! Is one in the N column a buddy read? if so I can put mine in the historical book square.

Laura (acquariusgb) (acquariusgb) | 442 comments I was thinking about tackling the set in the future square during the reading marathon.

Do you think Crossed (Matched, #2) by Ally Condie from the matched series can be okay? It is dystopian/ post apocalyptic so they are usually in the future.

message 56: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Yes, Crossed is fine for that category. :)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments Good job.:)

message 63: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Judy (courtneyjudy) Thanks! I wanted to read more today, but the two hour drive to pick up the husband from the airport turned into a 6 hour debacle!

message 64: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments ugh, that doesn't sound good.

Daughter of Smoke & Bone (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #1) by Laini Taylor

Should I wait for all 3 to post reviews?

message 68: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments You can do either.

message 69: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments You can do it either way. :)

message 75: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Judy (courtneyjudy) Finished with another. Will get my review all done tomorrow. Really wish it was easier to do on the app!

message 76: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments Yeah, so do I. I also wish there were a way to edit a post and view spoilers on the app.

Colleen Scidmore (colleensreadingadventures) | 968 comments I have a question about a book set around horses. The MC is a horse trainer and there is a bit of horse back riding in the book. Would that be OK?

Laura (acquariusgb) (acquariusgb) | 442 comments I'm reading 1984with my students. Would that count for a square? It's not 100 years older than me...

message 79: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments Colleen, yes. That should be fine.

Laura, let me see what it might count toward. I don't think it's probably close enough to the 100 year mark for that square.

message 80: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments You could use 1984 as a classic, Laura.

Thanks : )

Laura (acquariusgb) (acquariusgb) | 442 comments How is it going? I've been a bit busy with work and there's been the first heat wave of the season, I'm not a big fan of hot weather.

message 83: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments I'm a little jealous—it's only 60 here, which means we can't really go to the pool, which is sad because they open this weekend for Memorial Day. Where do you live?

message 84: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments It's pretty cool here, but I love it! I wish it was 60!

message 85: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments I love 7-90 degree weather because it's not too hot or too cold. I can't do anything really above 90 as it gets extremely humid here. I also love pool weather, but it hates me because I always burn...bad.

message 86: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments 60's are my favorite temperatures. I can do 70's but anything higher is a bit of a stretch for me. I don't really burn too much, which is good. And I have spent a lot of time out in hot weather, so I'm used to it. I just don't like it.

message 87: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments I meant 00, not 7! I can't deal with anything less than 32 though goodness knows we have plenty of those.

message 88: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments I knew what you meant. :)

message 89: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments I much prefer hot weather to the cold.

I live in Italy. It was 35° C this afternoon which a bit unusual for the end of May.

message 92: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4614 comments Wow, that's hot! It would be unusual even here I think.

message 93: by C.P. (new)

C.P. Cabaniss (cpcabaniss) | 8238 comments That is pretty hot and I would imagine is quite unusual for Italy at this time of year.
