Please fix Amazon Buy Link

on the page for the book, when you click on AMAZON to get your own copy it goes to an error page on Amazon

the link for the book (kindle version) is http://a.co/2wz0EWw

Would someone PLEASE fix it?

The get a copy links are not attached to books, but users can choose which links they want. Also, they will only work for the edition on which page you are.

The Amazon link will only work from the page of the editions that are available on Amazon.
On the page of the kindle edition: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3..., the Amazon link will work.
The ebook with isbn 9781455562282 is not listed on amazon, therefore the link will not work.

Hello!

I'm not sure if this issue can be fixed with the librarian group but I thought I may as well reach out.

The listing of Joshua and the Shadow of Death kindle edition's Amazon buy link is broken. Is there a way you could reconnect the two? If this is something that cannot be fixed through the librarians group, I'd love some direction on how to solve this problem?

Did the ASIN for the book change at some point? Or was it entered wrongly from the beginning?

The reason it doesn't link is because the ASIN indicated on the book page is different from the one on Amazon.

That's what the "get a copy" link does, it looks up for the book referenced by either the ASIN or ISBN on the page. Those buy links generate themselves, so there's no point in trying to "fix those links". Librarians can only fix thse "errors" if they're due to errors in the database (aka. in the books details).

It's a different edition, with a different pub date. The new edition needs to be added to Goodreads. Which I have done: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4...

It gets confusing when a thread linked to a specific book or author is also used for other books. I am closing this thread. Start new ones for other books.
