After that talk castiel was feeling bleak. What he heard had not made him happy at all. From what he understood, no one was safe from the prophecy. He thought about going to Selene right away, but thought he'd tell her tmrw. He had 2 days to choose then he would announce a companion to find something important out that could affect the whole camp.

Selene closed her book and sat listening to all the gossips of her siblings. One of them said something about Tartarus and her ears perked up,but just then one of the camp teachers opened the door and told them to sleep. She soghed and lay back in her bed.
The next morning, Castiel woke up and went to eat breakfast and meet Selene. All night he had agonized over the prophecy. He had considered trying to leave Selene here, but he needed her too much and there's no one he'd rather do this with. Plus, he was pretty sure no one would be safe anyways.
Selene was at the strawberry fields,plucking some fresh strawberries and popping them in her mouth. They were so delicious. She smiled as the flavour burst in her mouth.
Castiel finished breakfast and went to find Selene. He walked first to the archery range and then spotted her in the fields picking strawberries. As he approached he started blinking from his Tourette's but quickly got it under control. "Hey Selene, how's your morning love?" He asks, keeping the nerves out of his voice.

"Boring." She replied,without turning around. She knew something was up and she was wondering how life would be if she was a mortal,atleast there wouldn't be monsters.She sighed."how's yours?"
"Um well... it's been interesting. Look, I need to tell you something that you aren't gonna like..." he dropped off not wanting to ruin Selene's morning.
"It's some sort of prophecy. Isn't it?" She sighed and her shoulders slumped. She knew it would be something related to that.
Seeing her sad like this really felt like a punch in the gut. He almost just wanted to tell her something else but he forced himself to go on. "Chiron talked to me last night and gave me a prophecy. I'm telling you right now it's not good. I came to tell you so you can choose to join me or not. It's really ok either way, but you're the first person I thought of." He told her knowing he'd just ruined camp for her.
She turned back at him. "Cas..you do know that of you're going to go on a quest,I'm going to go with you right?" She smiled and took his hand pulling him to sit with her. "We always knew our lives were difficult from the moment we came in this world. But we're partners,wherever you go,I go and vice Versa. So yes I'll join you." She smiled.
Castiel relaxed a little. He was so glad he didn't need to ask someone else. But at the same time he felt guilty asking her to risk her life again. "Selene, you can't die again. I don't know if I'll be able to bring you back another time. I feel so bad asking you to do something like this again." He said holding her.
"Sh as I said we go together. I mean how dare you even think about asking someone else?" She joked. "And don't worry even if I do die again,it'll be a hero's death." She said smiling.
"But if you die, what am I left with?" He said sadly, remembering the pain he felt when she had died in his arms. He would not let that happen ever again.
She sighed and looked at the sky. "A memory." She said after a while. "Ofcourse I'll try not to die." She said."but that's really hard."
"Well if you think about it, you just gotta not get hit by anything sharp and just not let the bad guys get you." He said jokingly. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
"If only it were that easy peasy lemon squeezy." She sighed. "We all know quests are dangerous." She laughed, "that's why only the best get to go on them." She smiled.
"Darn us for being so good at killing monsters and saving the world." He said with a sigh. "Selene, if I ever die, I'll be waiting for you in Elysium. I'll wait for you there ok?"
She looked at him,tears in her eyes now. "Then let's hope we both die together." She said before putting her arms around him and hugging him tightly.
"Personally I'd prefer to live together rather than die. We'll make it through this, we did last time, but this time let's try and avoid dying." He replied using his thumb to wipe a tear from her face and giving her a kiss on the forehead.
She smiled and rubbed her cheek with his. "I love you so much cas.." she said softly,looking into his eyes.
"Awwww baby I love you too. Let's go have fun. We leave in two days so let's go do some stuff! Have some fun." He said to her helping her up.
She smiled and got up. "Where do you wanna go love?" She asked smiling warmly.
"How about we go shoot some archery? I need to work on mine and I think you're the best to show me." He replied.
"Well can't argue with that." She laughed and lead him to her favourite place. "Here we are."
"Ok, so I know what I'm supposed to do, but I just can't execute on the shot. Here, watch." He shot a few arrows, 1 missing completely, 2 hitting the outer rim of the target.
"Ok so.." she placed her hand on his hand and started teaching him all the basics. "So just aim slightly above the centre and then shoot." She explained and stepped back to let him try.
He let loose a couple more arrows and all of them hit. Closer to the center, but not a very good grouping. "Better than before, but I still feel like I'm missing something." He replied.
She frowned and thought about what it could be. "Did you pull the string back tightly?" She asked.
"Ummmm idk, how hard should I pull it?" He asked stupidly wondering when she'd break out laughing at his ineptitude with a bow.
She smiled and guided his hand then told him to let it fly. She smiled and stokd back."teaching you is so cute."
"Hahaha, aren't I supposed to be the one behind you holding your arms showing you to shoot?" He said laughing.
"Nope. When I was born my first gift was a bow and later on some arrows. I'm pretty sure I know how to handle this." She laughed and kissed his cheek.
"Hahaha, well, let's see if your tips worked." he said letting loose another round of arrows, this time getting a respectable grouping on target. "Hey, I need to finish something in the forge, you can come if you'd like, but it'll only take an hour." He told her.
"Sure I'll come." She smiled and walked back with him to the doorbell,just wanting to spend as much time as she could with him. "So...what's the prophecy?" She asked.
At this castiel got nervous, he fed the really want to tell her. "Are you sure you wanna hear? It's pretty bleak, not just for us, but the whole camp." He said heavily.
"I'm positive." She said and looked into his blue eyes with her sea green ones. "Tell me everything cas." She said softly.
"Ok, it reads like this."Tinkerers child to hell and back
Saved his love with skill and tact
Deep in the pit, the father stirs
Rising now to avenge and deter
Find him early or find him late
Get your army ready before the cursed date
So save or destroy your blessed home
Return the monster to his own hellish dome
He recited in a deflated voice
"It's about Tartarus. He's out for revenge..." she said and looked in his eyes. "Because you brought me back from the dead?" She sighed. "It's ok we can defeat him,right? We defeated Kronos."
"I don't know why he would stir. Maybe he's mad we beat his titans, maybe hades letting you go disturbed his sleep. I just know we have to stop him and we need an army." He replied.
((You remind me of my friend,if that's you in your profile picture.))"We can tell people our story. All of it." They had told people most of their story leaving out the part where Selene had died. Some knew but not all."we can tell them that if we work together,we can definitely defeat Tartarus."
(Do I? That is me. My cousin took it on her fancy iPhone seven thing. It's on top of camelback mountain AZ)"Do you think that would work? I mean we're asking them to potentially sacrifice their life. I mean, I suppose our story would rally them, but will it be enough?" He said wondering just exactly how hard it would be to beat Tartarus.
((Yeah like there's something about you that reminds me of him..he doesn't come online now..I miss him :"( ))"I think they'll understand and I bet we can beat him."She smiled."we've done it nefure haven't we?" She nudged him playfully.
(That's a bummer, well, idk what that something is but sorry you lost your friend.)"You're right, we'll be fine. Cmon, I'll show you how to make gold end caps!" he said taking her into the forge. He was going to give her birthday present the day they left on the quest because he wanted her to have it though it would be a bit early.
(I've gotta admit the view in your glasses looks amazing.)"Ooh." She smiled and followed him."show me the things you have made,o great one." She smiled and hugged him from behind."cas I want a piggy back ride." She laughed jumping on his back.
(Haha, I have pictures of the actual view and the glasses don't do it justice.)He shows her the forge and some of his contraptions and such. He then hammers out two end caps and a grip, showing her how to shape and detail them. After an hour he has them all finished up and let's her examine them. "Whaddya think?" He asked with a knowing smile.
"You know my answer." She laughs. "They're obviously amazing." She said and admired the time and effort he had put into making them. ((Really? Wow I wanna visit it too.))
(Id send you a photo, but idk how to on here. It's really cool tho.)They hung out for the rest of the morning, and when the horn blew signaling lunch, they went to get some food. "I'll see you after ok love?" He said
