"Whatever we do,we cannot let Nate open the gates of the underworld." She told him as she kicked Nate off of her and made her way towards Castiel when he was down. She stood panting and explained the whole prophecy to him.

"Well shit. That's some heavy stuff." He managed in between sword exchanges with an enemy. "So if he kills you, the underworld opens? Is that all of the prophecy?" He questioned.
"Theres more." She said plunging an arrow into the enemys heart before signalling him out and explaining the rest to him. "And that is why you cannot die. "
He laughs nervously "no pressure or anything." He replies parrying a spear. Then all of a sudden Nate comes at him out of he fray and he backs up. "Don't you dare touch her you creep!" He yells at Nate.
Selene stood with her arrow pointed towards him. "Dont come near me." She warned. "Im not afraid to shoot you. "
Selene had her arrow trained on him and castiel was poised to strike with his sword. But he smiled, and from under his robes he produced a knife and threw it. It tumbled in air, almost slow motion.
It was headed towards Castiel. Selene yelled his name before pushing him out of the way. The pain shot up her body add she looked down to see the knife dug in her side. The blood seeped out of her body but she knew the gate to the underworld wouldn't open until every last drop from her body was drained out and she wouldn't let that happen. She tried to get up but she realised she was losing blood quicker than she thought and the pain kept increasing. Her eyes swarmed with tears as she tried tp get up ans face nate. She couldn't die that easily. She couldn't.
He had been watching it come at his chest but Selene had thrown him out of the way. He got up and saw a knife in her side. It hit him like a wall. The emotion froze him as he looked at her. He knelt down next to her, a tear forming in his eyes. She tried to say something so he leaned closer, brushing a stand of hair out of her eyes.
She grabbed the knife and pulled it out. It hurt like hell. She looked at Castiel. "I don't know if I'll make it cas.." She said softly. "I know i promised we'd make it, I'm so sorry." She said tears falling down her cheeks.
"No! NO!" He yelled. "Please, don't leave me! Not again! You are all I've got! You are it! The only thing." She gave him a sad smile and her eyes fluttered closed. A single tear slipped from the corner of his eye, and it landed in the knife wound. Then he turned furious. Angrier then he had ever felt before. He trembled with rage. He turned on Nate. "YOU!" He screamed. He was glowing. Exploding with rage. He was red hot, then he realized he was on fire. Hephaestus's blessing. He barely noticed. He charged nate. He gave it everything. Swinging his sword with such force that it sliced Nate's in two. He advanced on him destroying everything that jumped in mates way. He was on top of him, nate looked scared and with one final burst of pure rage, he ended nate. It was over. He sagged. What happened to Selene hit him like nothing else. He crawled over to her, crying. He cradled her in his arms and broke down. He just couldn't. Best it. It was too much. He'd lost the last person he had left. He was all alone. And so he cried.
There was a flash and a glimmer before two Gods appeared at the scene. They saw Nate bent over the body of Selene Rivers and they could feel his pain. Mortals...so careless with their lives. They then saw the remains of nate and how his prophecy had came true.Apollo fell to his knees as he stroked his daughter's cheek.He cried,he wished this wouldn't end like this but what was lost was lost until Aphrodite spoke also red eyed from crying. "Your last hope is Hades. When selene died the gates to the underworld opened but since no one summoned the dead,nothing happened. You can go and ask hades. He might nust return her soul."
Castiel heard the voice of Aphrodite call to him telling him to take her to hades. He had to try. He needed her. More then anything. So he picked up her delicate lifeless body and carried her. It must've taken an hour but he finally stood at the gates to Hades palace. He walked inside. A dark figure greeted him as he entered. "I thought you might come see me."
Hades looked at the mortal who walked in. He had the afterglow of a hero. A hero who destroyed chaos itself but lost a part of him along the way. Hades watched him carry the body of his partner,his love,selene. No one in the entire underworld had tried to stop him. Thry knew he had saved the world and they gave him the respect he deserved. Hades motioned for him to come forward.
Castiel stepped forward and he started rambling. "Please lord hades, she's all I have left, please. Take me instead. She has people. I don't. I can't stand it. It's killing me. My heart is shattered and the only one who can fix it is lost. She was taken too soon. Please lord hades. If you decide to save one, please make it her. I need her back." He said breaking into tears. He simply could not imagine life without her.
Hades looked at the tragic hero standing in front of him. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Persephone standing there. "Hades..hes right she was taken too soon. I suggest you listen to him but..if you have to bring her back don't kill him in return. Think of what will happen to selene. Sure you can take away her memories but true love cant die that easily. She'll feel dull and hollow her entire life. They need to be together."Hades may be the God of the dead but he wasnt unkind. "Very well i grant you your wish hero. And payment in exchange for her to be set free is done. Nates spirit will forever burn in fire of hell." Hades said as he left to bring selene back from the dead.
Castiel almost collapsed from relief. Was this actually happening? He couldn't believe it. When hades returned he had a glimmering ball of energy. He held it over her chest and it absorbed into her body. Her eyes fluttered open and she took a deep breat. "Selene! Selene! I swear to the gods if you ever do that again i will come down here and kill you again!" He yelled as he tackled her in a hug. "I can't believe it, your back. Your really back. Omg Selene. I love you so much. Please, never leave me again. Please." He let it all topple out of his mouth.
Selene had just been reawakened and already she was receiving threats about dying. She laughed and hugged castiel back. "Oh cas.." She smiled and buried her head in his chest as the two Gods stood and smiled.
"Are you ok? Why did you push me out of the way! What were you thinking I-" he stopped and just looked at her. "Oh Selene, I don't know what I would do without you. I love you baby. Let's get out of here." He turned to the gods around him bowing politely. Then he turned to lord Hades. "Sir, I cannot express my gratitude. Thank you. I will never forget this. Never." And with that, he helped Selene up allowing her to lean heavily on him, and together they limped back to the mortal world.
Hades nodded and offered a smile.Selene felt a mixture of energy and tiredness. She looked at nate. "I thought that was goodbye. I knew you'd defeat nate. And maybe just maybe i knew you'd cross hell to bring me back." She smirked and held him close
"I'd do anything for you. It's funny. I'm named after an archangel. They are supposed to do that kinda thing. I'm just glad you're back. You had me scared for a second there. I don't know what I would've done if..." he shuddered. "Are you retract to head home?" He asked?
She smiled and kissed his cheek. "Ill be careful not to leave you now. Ever." She smiled and lay her head on his chest. "I sure am." She smiled.((So since this one is basically finished,we can time skip to a few years later and maybe nring more of camp half blodd in. Or do u have an idea?))
He smiled. For once it seemed the demigods got a happy ending. (Sure! I'm up for whatever!)
(So you wanna timeskip a few years later? And do you have any idea for what's gonna happen?)
(Time skip sounds fine. What if they have to rally the camp to fight a war against Tartarus. He forms a powerful, but compared to his true form weak, physical being and leads an army against the heros. They find this out on a quest and take the info back to camp and there is a war. How's that?"
((Oooh i like that. So timeskip two years later and both have been busy so now they're meeting after a while. Should the rp start in CHB?))

((Yes they are. And its ok. Respond when u can.))Selene was at the archery. Grounds,her arrow aimed at the target. She took a deep breath and let it fly. She smiled as it hit straight at the target.
Castiel had just arrived at camp for the summer. Man he loved this place he thought. And then he saw here. Selene Rivers. He'd been through a lot with that girl and boy did she have him head over heels. He was excited to see her because they had both been very busy and hadn't seen each other in a while. Her arrow hit the target dead center. He called out to her, "Nice shot I guess. I've seen better." knowing it was a complete lie.
Selene gasped when she heard that voice. "Cas?" She turned around and faced him. Her face lit up as she realised it was him. "Cas!" She exclaimed as she ran to him,enveloping him in a tight embrace.
"Haha, hey baby! How are you! It feels like I haven't seen you in forever! You look great, as always of course." He said giving her a wink. She really did look great in her camp T-shirt and jeans. "What have you been up to? I just got here, how are things?" He asked.
She smiled and laughed at all his questions. She kissed him after what felt like centuries. She then pulled back with a smirk. "You talk too much." She laughed. "I've been good,bored without you ofcourse. I've been upto camp activities all year long and things are prwtty normal." Shw replied.
"Knowing us, normal doesn't last very long." He stared into her eyes and smiled. "I'm gonna go set all my stuff in my cabin, then I'm gonna go down to the forge, I've got a really cool piece I want to make. I think you will like it." He said with a sly smile.
She smiled and responded to his sly smile with one of her owns. "What's going on in that beautiful mind of yours?" She asked raiding an eyebrow. She knew all his creations were incredible and she loved all of them.
"Well, that's for me to know and you to find out darling." He said giving her a wink. "But I know your birthday is next week and let's just say, it will be a special one." He was excited because during the school year, he had designed a bow structure that was more efficient than anything he had seen yet. Lighter pull back, more velocity on the arrow. It all had to do with a rare wood from the underworld. He had gotten some off the demigod black market and had the frame already made. He just had to construct the gold end caps and a grip. She was gonna love it.
"Aw man I hate waiting and being curious at the same time." She pouted."but I know it'll be worth it." She smiled and walked with him to his cabin,where she was met by the other Hephaestus cabin members. She greeted them all then helped Castiel unpack his stuff.
"So, what shall we do first? Back to archery? Volleyball? I'm up for anything. Even hunting for monsters in the forest. Take your pick." He told Selene who was debating the options with a contemplative look which was so cute that it almost wasn't fair.
She smiled and looked at him. "Swimming!" She said after thinking for a while. "Its a pretty good weather outside anyways, it'll be so much fun." She said and ran to get into her swimming costume.
Castiel threw on his swim shorts and met Selene at the dock. When he got there she was waiting for him. He muffled a mischievous smile as he walks to her. He opens his arms for a hug and she hugs him not knowing his plan. He locks his arms around her and he takes them both off the dock and into the water, laughing as they hit the water.
"Castiel!" She cried as they fell into the water. She ended up laughing and hitting him playfully. "You're full of surprises aren't you?" She smiled and splashed some water on him before swimming away. "Catch me of you can!" She called out.
"Haha, you swim like a child of Zeus!" He yelled after her. They had a great time splashing each other and wrestling and swimming. Soon they heard the conch shell in the distance, signaling dinner. They got out and troweled off from their swim.
"That was so much fun." She smiled and kissed his cheek before towelling herself and then went to her cabin to change into her camp clothes.
Castiel met back with Selene and they went to the dining pavilion. "I'll see you after ok?" He said. And he went to sit at the Hephaestus table. As he settled down, Chiron stomped his hoof on the marble to get everyone's attention for an announcement.
Selene joined her siblings and then turned to look at Chiron as he demanded their attention. She was filled with curiosity.
"Campers! I have news of utmost importance! The oracle has come to me with a quest! I have. Hoses the campers who shall participate in it and will summon them after the feast." Announced Chiron. Castiel shot a look of curiosity at Selene, thinking to himself that this was most unusual. Eh well he guessed and went on to enjoy his food.
She looked back at Castiel. Her table broke down into everyone wondering about what could have happened. "Selene do you know what it might be?" Asked a boy since she and Castiel had already went on a quest and saved the world,where she'd also died and come back to life. "Nah,I don't know anything",she replied.
The feast went on and there was a lot of speculation. Castiel mostly kept to himself. Most of these campers had never been on a quest let alone had their lives threatened so they were all ecstatic.
She kept eating and then went back to her cabin for the night. Chirons announcement still ringing in her head. What could possibly have happened?
Castiel was on his way back to his cabin that night when Chiron approached him. Uh oh he thought. I swear to gods if I'm int that stupid prophecy... "we need to talk said Chiron. Crap.
Selene was in her room,reading a book. So far chiron hadn't approached her so she was ok. She sighed in relief as her siblings all talked about god knows what.
