"Woah, you've met your dad! That's awesome! I gotta ask, are his haiku's as bad as rumored?" He gave a little laugh because of the stories he'd heard back at camp and he thought he might have seen a smile tug at selene's mouth, but he wasn't sure. Castiel continued to say, "hey, since it's your army, and I'm the first to join, it needs a name! That way once we grow, our name will be out there!" He knew he wanted to join this cause. He was starting to realize how big their problem was. They were close to camp, only a half mile left.

"His haikus are absolutely terrible."She laughed. "But he plays some sick instruments." She smiled and took his hand swinging it back and forth. He made her laugh and feel good even in a time like this. "Hmmm how about... the anti-Nates!" She joked,laughing merrily.
She admitted the quality of his haikus were in fact terrible and when she took his hand, he couldn't help but smile. And then she cracked a joke about naming the army the "Anti-Nates" and after what they had just done, such a joke was hilarious to him and her laugh was contagious. She gave him such a warm feeling in his chest that he couldn't help but laugh right along with her. And soon they were at camp. He raised his hands and said, "ta-da!" She looked confused until he explained that he had woven magic into the wood he built it with and when he opened the door, it seemed to materialize out of mid air. "Welcome, to my very own demigod hide out." He said with a grin. Taking her hand again as he led her through the door.
"Woah.."She took it all in, in amazement. "Wow Castiel, this place is actually beautiful." She smiled and began exploring the area. "Do you live here alone?" She asked. Somewhat Hoping that he'd say yes, she had found him so different from the rest of the demigods. She really wanted to get to know him more and she couldn't deny the fact that she felt drawn to him. She noticed the symbol of Hephaestus carved into wood and realised whose child he was. "Child of Hephaestus huh?" She smiled and came back to him.
"Haha, sometimes I sleep out here when my dad is away, which is actually quite often, but when he's home, I stay in the apartment a few miles from here." He was really glad she liked it, it started as a shack but as he got better at building he had upgraded and modified the place. He went on to explain, "built it all myself and this is the first time it's seen visitors. I'm glad you like it! The armory is in the back but we can raid that tomorrow morning before we leave. I'm guessing you wanna see the kitchen. I hope you like spaghetti tacos!"
"You built all of this?" She asked exclaiming. "Wow."She ran her hand down a pillar which was carved with designs. "Spaghettis! Sounds awesome!" She replied,still exploring the whole place. She walked back to him. "Lead on, oh mighty warrior as we go raid the kitchen!" She laughed.
They had a great time in the kitchen. Not knowing what music Selene liked, he threw on his favorite stuff. Some good old rock and roll! As AC/DC blared followed by journey and Boston, they rocked out and just generally had an awesome time. "You've got a pretty mean air guitar" he said grinning as he dropped the noodles into the boiling water and prepared some hard shell taco casings in the oven. "You know, of all the people I could have jumped out of a bus with and being chased by monsters, I'm glad it was you Selene." The rediculousness of it all caused her to laugh. Gosh he loved her laugh, it was downright infectious.
"Aww that's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me."She laughed. "I'm glad we killed those animals and I'm super glad to have found such a talented person such as yourself with such artistic views. Man you should go fir architecture." She smirked as he was working and slowly approached him from behind and began tickling him.
He had just got the taco shells out of the oven, and was reflecting on the architecture thing thinking, nah that's for the Athena kids to tackle, he got assaulted from a tick fight from behind. As crippling waves of laughter escaped his mouth he managed, "oh you're on! I never loose a tickle fight and rolled over to tickle her ribs. There was that laughter again, and as he was distracted by it she managed to stay behind him tickling him. Finally he managed to pull himself away and gasping in between fits of laughter. He turned to her and said, "ooooohhhh that was a dirty surprise attack! Haha, ok, ok, you win! I surrender!" He grabbed the noodles and the strainer and loaded the noodles into the taco shells and put some tomato sauce on top. "Viola! Dinner is served, my admiral." He added slyly as she rolled her eyes.
She giggled and sat down. "Yummmm." She took a bite. "Mhmmm good at building and cooking? Wow what a man!" She smirked loving how he blushed slightly then smirked back. "Admirer, you betcha." She laughed. "I mean who wouldn't be?" She smiled softly.
"Sure I can build and make some food, but I sure as heck can't shoot a bow...and I swear, no one tickles like you!" They both cracked up and then ate. Over dinner he told her about his life, camp halfblood in the summers, training an building, and during the school year how he got up every morning, hoping a monster attack wouldn't destroy his school. Running track after school, mostly distance and how he really despised AP Bio and AP Calc. She was a great listener and smiled at his comments about his school struggles. Then Castiel said, "man, if only those were the biggest troubles we had." He collected her plate when she was finished and cleaned up as Selene walked around the house more, making comments about the work. When he was done, he rolled out two sleeping bags on the floor and lit the fire place saying, no heater or AC yet so I usually sleep by the fire place on cooler days like today. I still need to add a barracks or bedrooms for places to sleep. Hope you don't mind."
"Are you kidding? Why would i mind? This is so awesome!" She smiled as she snuggled in front of the fire and looked at Castiel. He was looking at the fire thinking about something and he looked so damn fine. "You know you look really cute when you're deep in thought." She commented and with a warm smile she lay in her sleeping bag and closed her eyes. She pretended to be asleep,while in her mind so many things were running around.
"You know you don't look so bad yourself" he said with a quirky smile and a wink.
But when she lay down and thought she was asleep he slipped a photo of his mom and stared at it for a while. Then, he just sat there and finally lay down hoping tomorrow he could get to know the girl next to him better which he was starting I catch some serious feelings for.
She giggled at his compliment and her eyes fluttered open as she sat up and crossed her way to him. She sat down next to him and stared in the fire. "If you're sleepy i can go back." She smirked.
"Not in a million years" he replied while put an arm round her. And they just sat there for a bit, not wanting for that moment to change. Then castiel said something that was troubling him, "do you really think we have a shot to stop Nate? Earlier you said we were doomed, but we aren't right? I mean, we have to have a shot or Kronos will win. That can't happen!" He had been mulling this over in his brain and just couldn't keep it to himself. This happened often. He never had to keep words to himself around machines.
"We'll win. Nathan won't get away with this." She told him smiling softly. "This is really troubling you isnt it?" She reached for his hand and held it in her own as she looked in his eyes. "We wont let kronos win,I promise you." She realised how close she was to him and how his warmth spread over her. Somehow she knew she had found the one. Suddenly she felt a warm sensation on her neck and she realised it was from her necklce. It was a gift from aphrodite. It would turn pink and warm when she had found her love. She smiled to herself and softly thanked Aphrodite.
Somehow her reassurance calmed him and he was left staring into her beautiful eyes. He thought he saw a faint glow by her neck but thought he was imagining it. He almost lost himself in her eyes and as if there was some kind of pull that he couldn't resist, he leaned forward and kissed her. It wasn't long or hard, but it was nice, and he couldn't help but come away smiling. "Wow, never thought I'd be lucky enough to meet a girl like you, let alone kiss one." And she giggled. And right in that moment, he preferred this person to any machine ever built, even the ones built by his dad. It was something he never felt before,and he liked it.
She kissed him back smilimg as she did so. His lips were soft and warm and as he pulled back,she realised how hard and fast her hwart was beating. "You're so perfect.ii believe im falling in love with you and i cant stop."She smiled and reached for her necklace.
"Well I wouldn't have it any other way." He replied. Inside he was on cloud 9. Even though he didn't necessarily know her too well he still had no doubt in his mind he loved her. "We better try and get some sleep" he said still smiling as they sat there, cuddling, smiling at each other.
She nodded."here i want you to have this."she handed him the other half of her necklace so now they both had two cresent shaped ones. "Aphrodite gave it to me and it glowed pink meaning you are the one for me."She smiled and kissed his cheeck before laying next to him.
He accepted the necklace and put it next to the picture of his mom. "Thanks, its beautiful!" Castiel exclaimed. He stayed up a bit longer just smiling, then he eventually lay down next to Selene. "Goodnight beautiful, I'll see you in the morning." And he drifted off to sleep, full of anticipation for the day ahead of him.
Selene woke up happier than usual the next day and smiled as she realised how cute castiel looked,So peaceful.she stroked his hair lovingly then smiled and got up to go freshen up and decided to make breakfast.
Castiel woke up a bit later and was startled to find Selene missing, but then an incredible smell drifted into the kitchen. He realized she was cooking and by the smell, she was leaps and bounds better than him. He just smiled and shook his head, was there anything this girl couldn't do? He walked to the doorway and watched her cook for a bit and then he got a thought. It was his turn to get her back for that tickle fight she initiated last night. So with a sly smile and soft feet, he crept up on her and sprung his attack, bringing almost instant laughter as she giggled uncontrollably.
She was humming while she worked and as soon as Castile touched her she burst out laughing."Castile!!"She laughed and tried to wriggle free. "The pancakes will burn!"She laughed as she tried to free herself from his grasp. She smirked and kissed him which made him stop tickling her.
Her kiss was almost like it rebooted his brain. It Left him befuddled and giddy. She finished the pancakes and man, did they look good. "I can't wait to show you the armory, I've got some cool stuff in there, and I think you will especially like some of the specialty arrows I have collected! Some of the blades in there are ones I have made at camp." He commented as she brought the pancakes to the table.
"I would love to see all of your armour and weaponry."She smiled as she started eating her breakfast. She smiled at him."you're so interesting Castiel. Tell me more about yourself." She wanted to uncover him,all his secrets and mysteries.
He was taken a bit off guard and thrown for a loop, but he said, "well, what do you wanna know? I'm a 17 yr old kid who lives with his dad, when he's around, but because he's an Olympian, that's maybe once a year. discovered I was a halfblood when I was twelve, same time my mom died. I have Tourette's syndrome and that's why I blink or tick when I'm nervous, and I've been living the halfblood life for 5 years now. Been on some adventures, been knocked down more than once, but I always had people to help me up, I've been fortunate In That way. I've seen quite a lot, but nothing like you. You are more special than anything or anyone I've ever seen."
"Im sorry about your mom."She said softly. "I suffer from depression and sometimes anxiety but now that we found each other we'll help one another too."She smiled. "I've met so many people but none of them had what you have. You're genuine,caring,smart,funny and an overall amazibg human being."
"Why thank you and it's ok, nothing could have saved her. And im always here to help you through anything. I wouldn't miss a chance to see you smile." He replied. And after a moment he added, "I wouldn't miss it for the world." She smiled at him and he felt his cheeks lift a well. "Ok, lets go look and play with dangerous objects that you should never ever under any circumstances give to a couple of teenagers!"
"Alright!"She exclaimed in happiness and hung onto his back. "I hope I'm not too heavy for you. If I am...then I have to stay off all the desserts."She grinned and buried her face in his hair."onwards Soldier!" She threw her arms around his neck for support.(This is by far the best rp I've ever done.)

You are a great writer!)As they made their way to the armory, with Selene on his back giggling, they messed around and told jokes. When he stood infringed of a wall, he placed his hand on it and stepped back as the wall revealed rows of swords, daggers, bows, arrows, axes, maces, armor, contraptions and even a rack of shotguns with celestial bronze buckshot. He had been accumulating and even building these weapons over the years just in case. He was excited he could finally show it off. Selene looked amazed and he said, "Come on! It should be fun as long as we don't die!"
((Thankyou. :3 I'm glad you like it.))Selene gaped at all the collection before her. Her hands instantly went to the arrows placed on a table. She picked one up and admired it's structure. "This is really amazing,Castile you're so talented!'' She smiled and went around watching the other weapons and armours,lost in the amazement of it all.
"Haha, thanks, but you have to thank your dad for those arrows.. I found em in an old tomb while on a quest for Hephaestus. Brought em back here and figured someone might need em." He walked over to another table and picked up his sword. It was a 36 inch celestial bronze sword with a leaf style blade and a leather wrapped hilt with a gear for the pommel. It was a gift from his dad. He made an arc in the air and heard the satisfying swish it made. He stuck it in its sheath and it immediately became a necklace which he put on. The only time he wasn't ever wearing it was at school. He then picked up a dagger and strapped it to his leg. Always good to have a back up. He had learned that the hard way.
She watched amazed by how he carried his ammunition. This could be perfect if we can manage to create an army of our own. Then they'll have weapons to fight against the anti-nates."She smirked and went around exploring the piece of art Castiel had built and decorated with all the weapons.
"Yeah, this stuff is all just waiting to be used! It would be perfect. Just curious, where are we headed off to today?" He hadn't really known where they were going but he'd decided he'd follow Selene anywhere. He grabbed a bag and stuffed some supplies in it for some worst case scenarios that always seemed to happen.
"Honestly no idea. But we could go check places around camp half blood. Maybe nates army might show up there." She replied. She grabbed the bow and arrows and began walking out of the armory.
"Sounds like as good idea as any!" He said walking out behind her, shutting the armory. "And maybe we will even find more people and we can send em here!" He said. "Ok, I'm gonna go grab the truck so we can head on over there. It's a solid 45 min ride over there" he kissed her cheek as he ran out of the room and pulled the truck out to the front of the hide out. "There isn't a road out of here but I've made a path so it's going to get a bit bumpy, but first I have a gift for you." He said producing a white tank top out of his bag. "It's the same material as my armor shirt, solid as Steele, but looks and feels like a shirt. I made it last summer and had no one to give it to, so now it's yours." He said, with a smile on his face.
She smiled in awe."this is perfect thankyou." Then climbed the truck and perched on the passenger seat. "Lets do this!"
"Alrighty, here we go" he said as he pulled onto the path. As they were driving, Castiel said"so, where do you come from? Family? Friends? Anything? I'd love to know more about you. I'll take anything." He glanced at her smiling. She was very pretty today and she was sitting in the passenger seat with the sunlight filtering through, and it reflected off her skin giving her an almost golden aura.
"My mom is a singer, I have one older sister and Apollo does come visit at times,he really loves my moms voice." She smiled. "He loves to listen to her sing and as she sings the entire house hushes as if to listen."She sighed."I just hope every day and every night that our family stays that way,that nothing changes anything cause I love it how it is. My family is everything to me."She reached over and stroked his cheek softly. "And now you're my world."
Castiel Blushed. She was his world too. He didn't have a family like she had, but he wished he did. It sounds so nice having a mom and siblings and people who would never turn their back on you. He had at least one now, and she was sitting next to him. "Can you sing like your mom? If I were a betting man, I bet your voice is sweeter than the sirens." He said hoping maybe he'd be able to coax a note or two out of her.
She smiled and shifted in her seat. "Yeah I can sing."She wasn't sure why she was feeling shy,she'd never been shy before. She could sing pretty well and she loved to do so but this boy next to her...this one boy made her feel shy. She looked at him and realised with him,she was a different person. More happy,more funny and shy. She laughed to herself at that.
"Alright then, let's hear it! I'll bet it sounds better than apollo himself! But don't tell him I said that." He quickly added in a hushed voice. He could tell she was a little reluctant but it an attempt to make her feel better he said, "if it helps, just pretend your singing in the shower! Everyone sings in the shower!" He grinned at her losing himself in the shy smile playing out on her face.
She couldn't help but grin. He knew just how to make her feel better and she instantly started singing a lullaby her mom used to sing for her,starting slowly and softly and then gradually gathering more confidence as she saw him lost in her singing. She continued singing, losing herself in his eyes,as they reminded her of a hearth,of warmth and safety. She sang for him as her mother sang for her.
The words hit him like a brick wall. In that moment he just lost himself, having flashbacks to his happiest memories as a child, playing with his mom, learning who his dad was, building his hide out, and most recently, meeting Selene. He was so taken aback that he had let his foot off the gas and the truck had slid to a stop on his path and a single tear slid down his cheek. It was beautiful. He had never heard anything like it. It was as if the words had taken on emotions and then injected him with their emotions. "That was... beautiful" he managed. "You are truly gifted. I, I don't know what else to say. It was beautiful." That was all he could say as his mind reeled.
She blushed a light pink as heat rose to her cheeks. His compliment,his reaction meant the world for her. She was told she had a nice voice but when Castiel told her that,she truly believed him. "Thankyou."She smiled and put her hand on top of his. "I'm really glad you liked it."
"Yeah, alright, let's get on the road! Any preference in music? I don't have anything as good as you, but I have quite a few tunes." He said holding her hand. He pulled out onto a dirt road and started heading toward Long Island sound, starting to anticipate the mission ahead.
"I'll listen to anything really as long as it's not country."She laughed and leaned back in her seat. She hadn't realised she'd fallen asleep but when she was woken up by Castiel she realised they had reached camp half blood. She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and jumped out of the truck.
Selene had fallen asleep as soon as they had gotten off the dirt road, he spent the ride stealing glances at her sleeping peacefully. He parked in a secret spot he'd discovered about a half mile from camp. He woke Selene up by tickling her lightly on her sides and she woke up in a fit of giggles smiling. "We're here. I parked about a half mile from the border in case we wanna snoop around outside the border before going into camp to see what's up. You ready admiral?" He asked jokingly as he grabbed his bag out of the back and fit it on his shoulder. He slipped his hand into his pocket feeling the necklace and picture he now kept there, and their touch calmed him a little.
